Chosen Solution Hello, I disassembled my Galaxy S6 in order to change the home button and the dock connector. After re assembly, the screen is not working anymore. I have the LED working when I turn on the phone, but nothing else… Any idea ? The screen got damaged during removal when separating it from it’s frame. Unfortunately you will need to get the screen replaced and that is fairly expensive....
Chosen Solution My Tab only displays black and gray vertical lines, but I can hear that the unit is powered on, what might be the problem? Is it repairable? Thank you! Looks like the LCD for this went bad or became loose from the board itself. It is definitively repairable, but I do recommend that you purchase the LCD and Digitizer assembly if you are going to do this yourself.
Chosen Solution The silicone(?) collar that holds the floor nozzle into the tube that connects with the upright section of the body has broken. It is the part that keeps the two connected. Is there a cheap way to find or make a replacement? The collar that is broken has two tabs to keep it in place. One has broken. The other tab doesn’t quite do the whole job. It is a flexible translucent piece that looks like it could be made of stiff silicone....

Chosen Solution i had a customers 8 plus brought in requesting a new screen and charging port. I have installed the new screen and charging port all went well, i turn the phone on and plug it in to charge and it clips in with no worries and makes the ding charging sound right away but in the top right beside the battery % no charging symbol appears and the phone just gradually drains battery from being idle....
Chosen Solution You said there were spots on the board for adding a SATA drive. What about the power supply? How difficult would it be to add a hard drive? Is there any software that is Apple’s to turn it into a Time Capsule? Re-read the tear downs of both units. Note there are some additional hardware pieces and the logic board is not fully populated with the needed stuff. Bottom line here: It’s not practical to try to upgrade the new Extreme to a Time Capsule given the price difference is so close to what you’ll pay on the open market for just the HD alone....
Chosen Solution I dropped my MacBook air and broke the left hinge, Shortly after that my screen was turned a blue hue. I opened it up and found the LVDS cable was frayed and then my screen went from all blue to completely large pixels. I replaced the LVDS cable but when I reboot the screen lights up but no image. I can get an external screen to work. Going into displays only shows the external display....

Chosen Solution The Lens on my “Depth Camera” is broken, the Camera lens is fine below it. How can I replace it. The Depth Camera is the lens above the regular camera lens on the back of the device. Chosen Solution So I replaced my controllers analog sticks with a pair from another controller( the replacement sticks worked great on old controller ), desoldered/resoldered and everything seems to work except the right analog stick. In game it has the camera pointed straight up and is constantly spinning. Not sure where, or if, I went wrong. Has anyone ever experienced this when replacing analog sticks? Sounds like a dead zone problem....

When we turned in on you could hear sounds coming from if just no display on a black screen. Any ideas how to fix it? Chosen Solution Model is Samsung DV457GVGSGR/AA (gas) and I have no heat. I’ve replaced everything in the title and checked continuity on the high limit thermostat plus took readings from the solenoids, which checked out with others readings, and yes, checked to see if the unit is getting gas (even called the company to double check). Still, the ignitor will not even begin to glow. It is a relatively new unit and all the wires seem to be in good shape....
Chosen Solution I replaced my late 2013 macbook pro’s logic board with an used one with higher specs. After replacement, I get the boot sound and keyboard and screen backlights turn on but I only get a black screen, no apple logo nothing. I plugged in an external, monitor through hdmi but the monitor got no signal. I changed back to my old logic board and everything went fine. I swapped my ssd from my old logic board onto the new one....

You may have to find a “second hand” Cozmo, or a broken one from places like ebay etc.,for parts. Chosen Solution Samsung TV model un49ku7000fxza. They didn’t have my tv on the list on this site so I wrote it in. Left side flashing white and the rest of the screen is black and unresponsive to anything I try. The red light won’t turn on, remote won’t work with the tv at all. No damage as far as I know. Chosen Solution Everything seems to work except that the screen doesn’t turn on. Not even with a replacement screen. Any way to fix this without doing difficult soldering? Did you forget to unplug the battery before doing the screen replacement? Try shining a flashlight on the screen and see if you can see dim display which would mean the phone has a backlight issue, that requires board-level / microsoldering to repair....
