Yes, the Touch ID will work with no problem ms. The only time you lose your Touch ID function is if you have to replace the actual home button flex cable. Chosen Solution Temperature is set to 0 & 37. Every day or two, both sides will get warmer than that even though the display reads 0 & 37. I am able to have it function properly by removing power, restore power then reset the unit by pressing and holding fridge and freezer buttons. Compressors and fans will kick on and unit will be at proper temperature within 1 hour. After reset, the ‘true’ temperature will be displayed on the door display....

Chosen Solution The screen hinges don’t have much resistance to them, if the screen is not almost vertical it will fall either backward or forward. Is there a way to tighten the hinges on these screen assemblies? Oh Boy! Not good ;-{ The older 2015 and older MacBook Pro’s had removable hinges! The 2016 onward use a press fit hinge pin which is then encompassed with the clutch spring. What happened in the first models the pins would become loose within the lid frame so the lid just swings with little if no tension!...

Simply by pressing the power button next to at the right of source, then switch to fm, and navigate through the stations. Now hold the same power button as mentioned before to close the radio. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be extremely helpful! @rileylearns you’ll have to run some jumpers from the points marked by the arrow. Either short one from the Blue mark or long one from the Red marker....

Chosen Solution I installed a 1TB Hitachi Travelstar drive in my 2006 MacBook Pro. The Disk erase will not erase the disk and the hard drive shows 7TB and not the actual 1TB. I verified with OWC that this drive is compatible with my MacBook. Tried chatting with support at OWC and they had me send the drive back and sent a new one thinking it was a drive problem. The replacement drive arrived and I am having the same problem....

Since optical bay on 2012 MBP has Sata III with 6Gb/s so I was hoping to retain my 750Gb hdd as where it is right now and minimising the workload of course and simply take install a new SSD on the optical bay which would host the OS and the softwares to get the best performance, while the HDD can retain all of my files and more....
