Chosen Solution I’ve got an iPhone 5s in Space Grey or black. And I don’t understand why Apple did put a black ring around the home button instead of a silver or at least “space grey” one. I think that would look a LOT cooler. So is there any guide for changing the ring of the home button? I know it acts as sensor to detect the finger, so I guess it’s more than just a metal ring....
Chosen Solution I just replaced the LCD screen, now when I turn it on just the apple emblem showes and turns off over and over. Yes the phone was off, yes the connections are tight, yes I placed the longer screw in proper location. I’ve replaced screens before and have never had this issue. What do I need to do to fix issue? Have you tried without front camera plugged in?...
Chosen Solution My Samsung Un46F6300 tv had dark shadow at the top of the screen but I could still see the pic. I replaced all 8 led backlight strips and the interface strip. When I turned on to check that all the leds worked, they turned on, blinked once, then after about 10 seconds, they dimmed. I disconnected the cable to the main board and they stay on and don’t blink once and they don’t dim....

It works well as I tested it on my working phone. When I connect it to the damaged phone, I see a bunch of white lines horizontal across the screen, if I continue to hit the power button it slowly becomes one white, still line ridden screen....
Chosen Solution So my Ps4pro sounds like a jet, I borrowed my friend’s to compare and make sure, my friend’s is whisper quiet in comparison. Even in 1080p it still sounds embarrassingly loud. So fan replacement didn’t work either. I live in a place without official sony repair centers, can anybody help? try changing the thermal paste and tighten the heatsink bracket

Chosen Solution So, if we start the card and turn on the right blinker. It seems to work o.k. However if turn on the headlights and check the blinker, no go. The front one works (fast) but no back blinker. Turn off the head lights, and the symptom stays. Looking at the wiring diagram shows that the lamp is operated by a unified electronic module. So, is it possible that the lamp has a bad ground or lead wire that shows open when the headlights are on?...
Chosen Solution I have a ring pro that is 3 months old. Everything works except when someone presses the button nothing happens. I have disconnected the ring pro and put a normal door bell button on to test the inside chime. Inside chime works perfectly. I put the ring pro back on and pair it up with the WIFI, push the button, nothing happens. Video works great and I get all motion alerts....
Chosen Solution How can I remove these grey jiggly lines from the screen? They appear and dissapear at random times. Tried light hitting it from the back and they disappeared for a moment. Chosen Solution I replaced the battery in my iPhone 4 using the Ifixit kit. It worked fine for about 2 weeks. Now when I try to use the iPhone the screen shows vertical lines and then fades to black after a minute or so. If I let it sit for long enough it will look fine until I try to use it, then same problem. The phone works, I can receive calls, but can’t see the screen....
Chosen Solution My asus laptop screen goes out when I move it to different positions, feels like a contact/ connection issue @nballini ,Nick, Yes, it could be a connector or bad cable issue, a lot of times from the wire bending at the hinged area can cause a break in the cable or cause the connection to eventually become unseated. Find your disassembly guide at the link below to enable you to check and reseat the display connector or check for damage, you can also find disassebly video’s by doing a search....

Chosen Solution When I try to turn on my 3ds it will have a black screen and a blue light that will fade away (if there is no SD card inserted) but if a SD card is inserted the blue light will stay there, the problem is the problem is i installed homebrew and the contents from the SD card are deleted and replaced with my own personal files that are now lost somewhere....

That comes from your LCD screen, it’s the rubber spacer for the microphone and the earspeaker, with screen top down the dot like part is on the left for the microphone small grip. It may be that if you replaced your old screen the new one has the part already installed....

Chosen Solution So I bought a pre owned ps4 slim and it’s in decent condition but the glossy plastic between the two housing shells is scratched pretty bad. So I was wondering if that piece alone is replaceable? If it’s the glossy black plastic, I think it is part of the entire top/bottom shell. Those can be replaced but you’d have to buy the whole shell. eBay is usually a good source for that....

Thank you @wonderk there are hundreds of reasons why this could be happening. You need to tell us what light is on, what you have checked and what happened just prior before this. The best place to start with would probably be to get the OBD scanned at places like Autozone etc....
