Chosen Solution Today, I received a new battery and new charging dock for an old s6 Edge I had that had stopped working a while back. The old battery was swollen when I removed it and I had remembered from earlier that it was diagnosed with charging port problems, which is why I replaced that as well. Despite all this, when I plug it in to connect, it gives me a “Charging paused, battery temp too LOW” warning....
Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone 6 and really busted up the screen bad. It worked but was basically non-usable. I ordered a replacement display from Ifixit. I replaced the panel only, I re-used the front facing camera and a couple other components versus the complete panel to save the $20. I also replaced my battery with an Ifixit battery. Once reassembled, every thing seemed to work but very quickly it became apparent there was a problem....

I bought a 2ds from ebay and the sleep switch was melted so I need to solder a new one on. or does anyone knows the serial number or something else? i believe the serial number is on the back of the device if not, you can find it in the settings and under a tab similar to about device, and im not too sure if you can actually buy parts to this but if so amazon might be your best bet
Chosen Solution I replaced my Moto G5 Plus screen after the old one cracked. Replacement screen image was perfect but digitizer did not work at all, neither do I hear start up sounds when powering on, though I don’t always hear startup sounds with the old cracked, but still working screen. I put my old cracked screen back in, works reasonably well given the extent of the cracks. Got an RMA replacement, second replacement screen does exactly the same thing, image is great, no digitizer activity, no sound....
Chosen Solution My screen does not work when I touch it. What could be wrong? Sounds like the LCD panel. You’d have to change the LCD panel to get the touch responsive again. Usually ebay is the best place to buy a replacement. Cost is usually 25$-125$ depends on the phone. I’d say for your phone it’s probably cheaper.

I can see login window if I put some light on it. all lights are green, I bought used inverter on eBay but it didn’t change anything. need advise what can it be. Here are just two suppliers found on a quick search example 1 example 2 I think iFixit sells a wide range of tools and replacement parts, if that’s what you mean. Both of those examples are LCD screens which are for the cheaper Moto z4 play. The original Moto z4 has an OLED screen....
Chosen Solution Samsung avant Touch Sensors not working after falling in water. Everthing else appears to work but touch screen. i’m not pro but as far as i know that’s common that the Touch Sensor chip gets fried if you sure that’s the sensor you can replace it (Level 3 repair) did you remove all the resodue and other crap inside? if it’s in pain in the ass package (soldered from under (so you need hot air)) then it will de really difficult to replace....

I have experience soldering but on bigger things like instrument cables, amps and effects pedals that die from being out in the elements at gigs. Chosen Solution I followed the tutorial on this site for the battery replacement and everything seems to work fine except that there’s no sound from the speaker i.e. click for typing and turning off screen. All the connections seems sound. I double checked connector 4 but nothing happens. Any ideas what went wrong? It turns out that while I was replacing the battery, I had mistakenly muted the phone, everything is fine now....

Chosen Solution Good evening, DTEK50 digitizers are quite difficult to find. Since the DTEK5 is essentially a rebranded Alcatel one touch idol 4, could those screens fit on a dtek50 ? The connectors appear to be the same and the dimensions + screen resolution seem to be identical. Thanks! I would think seeing they come off the same assembly line they should have interchangeable parts . I would give it a shot there not expensive but if the connector doesn’t mate with ease I would not force the issue just in case....
Chosen Solution i think i had a power surge and the hmdi port has blown ? can it be repaired or do i need to replace the unit Hi, If the Roku’s motherboard has been affected by a power surge, it will be easier to get a replacement device than to try and fix it, as doing this without a schematic diagram or service manual will be extremely difficult. You could try finding a replacement motherboard to see if that is any cheaper....
Chosen Solution A capacitor blew up so I went to the service manual too see which one. But I cant seem to find the correct capacitor. The one that blew up was C102. Aparently its a 10uf 10v 85º ceramic suppression capacitor. But I cant find that capacitor anywhere. Am I reading the manual correctly? The TV is a LG 42LA6130. Try finding it at Mouser Electronics. If you can’t find it ask them....
Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro from 2007. I’ve replaced the hard drive after a crash. Considering upgrading RAM. While I’m in there for the RAM, anything else I should modernize? Not much you can upgrade in this series other than the Drive & RAM. This system is limited to 4 GB of RAM and the drives SATA port is limited to SATA I (1.5 Gb/s) so you do need to be careful on what drives you go with as faster drives may not work in this system....
