Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 Plus mic for Siri doesn’t work -she doesn’t hear me and on the selfie(front) camerA makes a static noise. No audio. I can’t voice to text . I also notice on the back camera- if it’s silent, that same noise will be there but if I speak it lowers down almost not there. My phone calls and voice memo DO work. I suspect droplets of water may have Caused this issue, I was washing out tie dyes and my phone was right there next to the sink collecting water on the screen....

Chosen Solution I bought a Macbook Pro 13 inch wich isn’t charging and the green Led does not turn on as well. I’m not sure which model it is, on the logic board it says EMC No: 2326. It has a 2.26/3M/1066 Processor and Thunderbolt as well After taking it apart i noticed that there are components (i think resistors?) missing on the logic board. Is there somebody who can help me identify these?...

Chosen Solution My new (to me) MBP is telling me I should replace the battery now, which isn’t surprising as I bought it off ebay listed as needing a new battery. However before I spent £25 on a new battery I thought I’d do that reset the SMC thing to see if it improves it all, which it did; now the battery actually charges rather than completely refusing to. I would just buy a new battery as on system info it says it has 1330 cycles and only 1882mah full charge capacity xD however I’m going away for 2 weeks on the 22nd so the battery probably won’t arrive by then....

Chosen Solution Charlie, the 7 blink code is a common issue with is with one, both, or all of SC board, SD board, and SU board. The most common failure is the SC board. It was such a big issue that Panasonic even offered a warranty extension because of this. Not sure if that would still apply to your TV, I’d call them at 877-95-VIERA and see if that still works for you....

Chosen Solution I have a destroyed 5S (A1533) with a working board and I found an iPhone 5S A1457 with a dead board for sale, it will fit normally if I replace just the board/touch id? It will, no problem with size and screws, just make sure it matches with network specifications of the carrier you are using.

Chosen Solution I replaced a magsafe port on my macbook and now it won’t power on! I plug in my charger and it goes from green to the orange showing that it is charging. Very frustrated. The fix wasn’t extremely difficult but frustrated that I can’t figure out why it won’t power on now. Can anyone help? Recheck all your connectors(tions) - most times this is a connector that “looks” or “seems” OK but in fact is lose, not snapped in, locked down....

Chosen Solution At this point, by the place the laptop’s display is showing it’s age because it has chips of aluminum that look chipped Is there any way to patch this or does the unibody have to be replaced outright BTW, there is a slight dent i don’t care about too much, you can’t see it unless you look in light on a angle If you’ve got the missing chunks, super glue does alright on metals....

Chosen Solution A friend of mine has the A5. And has had problems of rapid battery drain. Litterally 1% every minute or two. So I advised to wipe it and start from scratch incase there was something glitching? Same thing happened again, so he sent it off to EE and they said there was water damage. And it needs a new charging port? He seems to think it’s been no where near water, so I asked if it’s been left anywhere with high humidity, or been on holiday recently, which he said no....

Chosen Solution When the dock connector is connected, it will restart. I changed the dock connetor, but it not good. What is the problem? :S Front camera cable must have been ripped, this would be a fault caused by the proximity sensor somehow being damaged. See if it reboots with front camera disconnected. Siri also uses proximity sensor so see if it reboots when you try to run Siri.

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2012 A1398, after having it “repaired” by Apple two years ago the problems with the dgpu are back, as far as I have read it’s probably not the chip itself but a small component. There’s a famous repair shop that repair the machines in NY, but they suggest of finding a repair shop locally. Are you aware of any that does it? Thanks for your help!...

Chosen Solution Hi, I read the excellent aryicle explaining how to remove the back cover of a pixelbook go. Since the battery is glued to the back, I’m assuming that the best way to replace the battery is teplacing the whole back cover. Is that correct? It’s extremely difficult to remove the cells from bottom cover so yes, replacing the whole battery/bottom cover assembly is the way to go....

Chosen Solution If your device is restarting randomly after 1-2 minutes this could be caused by battery data issues. I would confirm this by downloading 3Utools and check if your battey shows battery data. If your phone does have a sensor issue this would of caused a bootloop causing the device not to pass apple logo. Replacing the proximity sensor is possible however you will lose Face Id, To keep Face id the Hall sensor will need to be transferred over from original flex to another....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen and frame on a samsung A50, and while the phone lights up and displays perfectly the touch function doesn’t work. I even tried another new screen and got the same issue. I checked all the connectors and all pins looks straight and clean. Any thoughts on what the issue could be? this is most likly because you did not properly plug back in the touch cable or a problem with cpu or traces on the board, check the wire, then if that does not work, i dont know

Chosen Solution My “P” key stopped working on my Dell Precision M4800. I ordered THREE different replacement keyboards, one with exact same part numbers. None of the replacement kbds show up in BIOS or device mgr (as PS2). If I put the original kbd back in. It works and shows up in BIOS and device manager. Could the firmware be linked to a specific serial number? That would be rather stupid....

Chosen Solution So my mid 2012 MBP was installed with the Samsung 850 EVO (my mbp died from my own dumb blunder) and it has all my designs files. I have it in an enclosure now (USB 3.0) and I am just trying to extract data/use it as an external hard drive on my PC. The PC recognizes it as a USB mass storage device, but I cant format it or do anything to it....

Chosen Solution I have a Samsung M/N UN50H6203AFXZA that will not turn on. The standby light comes on and when ‘turn-on’ is attempted (remote control or joystick switch) the light blinks off 5 times then goes off and stays off. This also happens as the set is plugged into AC. Press the remote or switch again, and the light comes back on. If the PS cable to the Main Bd. Is disconnected and then the set is plugged in, the backlight DOES NOT COME ON....

Chosen Solution My TV screen will turn on and then go black every so often. Most of the time it works fine but sometimes it will go black or half the screen will be really dark. If I turn it off and back on it will start working again. Sometimes it takes 3-4 times of turning on and off before the picture works again. Also when it does go black the sound still works perfectly....
