Chosen Solution Hello all, My power button was stuck so I decided to do a DIY, ordered all the tools and the button as needed. After assembly of the phone, it powers up, connects to itunes and computer, but the screen won’t show up, only back-light… swiping or touching the screen doesn’t do anything. I double checked all the connections, I have NO screws left over, that means i’ve put everything back the proper way....

Espon Connection doesn’t work I tried to download the program thought Espon website but doesn’t register. Chosen Solution I’ve an SE and I changed a U2/Tristar chip on it because the phone didn’t charge up. After chip replacement the motherboard has PP_GPU and PP_CPU short. I used kapton tape to cover other parts and I used the hot air station on 350C. I think I did a good job but just in case I removed the IC (all pads look good) but the motherboard still has short circuit....

I hired a really really good mechanic who had never done this specific repair before. it took him 5-6 hours. he could not remove the door all the way so he removed the back hinge and propped the door so he could work on it. he had to remove practically everything from the inside of the door before he got to the part....
Chosen Solution My turn signals in the dash stop working when the headlamp switch is turned on. I have replaced all the tail lamp bulbs with the correct bulbs and cleaned the contacts it did not fix it i cleaned all the grounds that i could find i repaired broken ground wires near the battery. It worked fine when i bought it, but later seemed to struggle to stay cold. I moved and didn’t use it for a year and thought i would plug it in again recently. Chosen Solution After years of working great my Mac Mini 2011 i7 with discreet video is having problems. I went to wake my mini from sleep only to find it was off. This was odd as I have had it plugged into a UPS since I’ve had it. It fired up fine but after a little while it just turned off. Similar experience to holding the power for 4 sec. reset the PRAM....

I saw in the teardown that they removed them was wondering what process they used. A hot air rework station is used to remove the EMI shields on the logic board.

I understand that Logitech has developed this new (2009 - jseus fck!) tracking tech that it calls “Darkfield”, so it can track on pretty much any surface, i.e. glossy or clear glass surfaces. Anyone know if it would be possible to extract the tracking sensors in a logitech mouse and transpose it into a magic mouse? I want my mouse to match my mac, but the magic mouse tracking sucks, even after the release of magic mouse 2....

Is displaying correctly and it mainly works but not it doesn’t respond sometimes. It just seem to ignore my touch. Sometimes i have to try a few times to close an application by swiping it.
