Chosen Solution My Kindle Touch screen has become indistinct i.e., I can not read any book clearly. The screen has become a bit snowy, hazy. All other features are working. Can anyone suggest the remedy? @paramananda this could be an LCD issue as well as a driver issue. I’d start by replacing the LCD with a new one. Use these guides Kindle Touch Repair to work on it.
Chosen Solution I mixed up all the screws for my phone n i need to know which screw goes where Follow the guide for the phone repairs, it will list screw sizes, then following along you can piece together the screw locations. Next time make sure you use a magnet mat with labels.
Chosen Solution I recently acquired a Dell Latitude E6400, I dropped an SSD into it, changed the keyboard and Installed windows 10 on it. It is working like a champ, ofcourse I won’t be doing any gaming or major editing on it. The issue is that the SSD connectors are a little looser than the old HDD connectors, hence the SSD easily slips out or doesn’t maintain connection. The original screws that would hold the HDD in place where not with the laptop which is why I need to know what screw size or where I can get the screws to hold the SSD in place correctly....
Chosen Solution The Techno Y3s was manufactured by Techno for Safaricom Kenya. It has a second sim slot which you can only see after you remove the back cover. However it is not activated. How can i activate it to use a second sim? Thanks I don’t know how to do this,may you please help me?
Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery and its fine but tablet id sluggish and I get a notice that says app is not responding to the device or that the app is not responding ! Do I want to wait ? Plus keyboard gets sticky sometimes ? Also doesn’t want to scroll properly poor sammy is sick can you help ? purrsnikity , Apps /data may have become corrupt slowing system down and unresponsive....

Chosen Solution 2nd channel became distorted after hitting a big cord the gain channel is affected when the gain is off it works fine both channels i am a hobby tech i can read schematics i have had this amp apart once before for a hum problem this turned out to be a ground conn on the board fixed it all was good i suspect a capacitor has bit the dust in the gain section before i open it up i wonder if anyone has had this problem and what the fix was...

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on a friends iPhone SE, and afterwards noticed that it would not charge past one percent. Thought it perhaps was a software issue since it was still on iOS 9. Did a restore to 10.3.3 and it magically went to 44% but would not go past that. I ordered a new battery, hoping that was the issue but when I connect the new battery it doesn’t go past 3% now....

Chosen Solution After replacing display there are many odd random actions occuring. Ie.. I open YouTube and the fifth video on screen starts playing and soon after starts skipping to next video repeatedly. But YouTube music doesn’t do this. Telegram messaging randomly switch to different conversations. But Hangouts messaging does not. I couldn’t even type this up in the browser because it will repeatedly delete the message but for some reason it’s kind of working in Google keep, it’s just randomly selecting text making it difficult....

Chosen Solution My 10" RCA tablet (RCT6203W46 KC) won’t charge; tried numerous chargers which work on other devices and on my 7" RCA tablet. I’ve tried power banks and AC chargers. The connection on the tablet itself seems loose. When I hold the charger in the tablet, the battery symbol comes on but I can’t sit there for hours holding the charger. I’ve tried lodging the charger cord securely to the tablet but it is too loose to sit securely....

DeoxIT D5 is what I use to remove oxidation along with a coarse piece of paper. For corroded battery terminals, leakage, water, etc. I mostly use citric acid if I have it on hand, or vinegar which I always have on hand. Never had a problem yet, but it does require a little elbow grease....
Chosen Solution I am currently removing the heat shields from an iphone 6s to perform liquid damage cleanup. I am having trouble removing the larger heat shield that is right next to the battery connector. I have already mixed low melting solder with the solder that is holding the shield down, but I am still not able to get it to break free. Chosen Solution Hi , I have this bose dock but the iPhone conector broke, it is really easy to take off but I can’t find a piece to replace. Can you help? If the 30 pin iPod connector is detached from the dock you might be able to salvage it using an Apple 30 pin to USB cable. You would need to solder the wires from the Apple cable to the corresponding connections inside the dock....

Thanks I would do a Recording Test using Voice Memos to see if the earpiece will work. If that did not work, attempt to Restore the phone. EDIT Check the Earpiece section and make sure the Gold Contacts are lined up and the screws are in the correct position....
Chosen Solution I just purchased a replacement glass for my Garmin Edge 800, but it is just the glass and not the glass in the frame. How do I remove the cracked glass from the frame and install the new one? The original appears to be glued to the frame @dwiener use a good hair dryer or a heat gun on its lowest settings. Move the hot air along the sides of the digitizer to soften the glue....
