Chosen Solution First, the original monitor had occaisonal problems, fixed sometimes fiddling with the screen on the hinges. Then, the logic board died, on account of the video card, replaced free by Apple. It worked fine for a few hours, then the screen died having colors flow over the screen (while the external output works) and I bought and changed the inverter, same issue. Then bought new LCD, it was totally white, thought it was DOA....
Chosen Solution I’ve replaced the motherboard in my XE500C21-H04US. I did this because the power adapter broke on the original motherboard. The original motherboard works just fine in all other respects; it just is unable to charge the battery. In fact, if I reinstall the old motherboard I can reinstall the OS and everything works fine. Chosen Solution I’ve tried multiple working airport extreme cards. None are detected. Ran hardware tests card is never detected. Verified that all cables are fine and connected. This is one of the boards that has the ram slot issue. Currently running 10.5.8. It’s not detected in 10.4 either. It sounds like a logic board problem. Can you find one of the USB wifi units to try? If that corrects the problem you can swap out the card cage which may correct your problem....

It initially had two 1GB RAM memory modules, which I replaced by two 2GB RAM memory modules, and everything worked fine for months. It fell on the floor three weeks ago, and since then, the OS only recognizes 2 GB out of the 4. It always displays one slot as empty. Chosen Solution The metal ring and camera lens are missing from my rear camera - I ordered a lens and bezel kit but the lens isn’t flush with the back glass (it sticks up a little) and there are no instructions on adhesives to buy to insert the missing parts etc. I see a metal ring with 4 marks in it around my exposed lens - there isn’t any glass cover to remove....

Chosen Solution the tear down is on you tube, but the battery removal from the face is done by using thin sheets of plastic sprayed with a liquid which is not identified in the video, it looks like water but may not be something electrically non-conductive does anyone have a clue to this liquid please ?. thank you. Chosen Solution I completed the repair by replacing the lightning connector assembly. My phone turns on and allows me to send messages and seems to work fine. However, when the phone is plugged in. it will not charge. Upon further experimentation I noticed that the phone no longer vibrates or is able to make any noise. My theory is that the push connector that came on the new port assembly is not properly connected....

Chosen Solution Used a cheap belt from hardware store for light duty and it heated up and broke. Something tells me I have to use a belt designed for tractor. Right ? runedruncrilly not necessarily. If your belt is not properly routed or if any of the pulleys are misaligned or the bearings are worn, your belt would do the things you described.
