Chosen Solution I’ve cracked the LCD on my Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T800 10.5, but can’t seem to find any screen repair guides or tear down anywhere on the net. Does anyone have a link or ever done it before? Thanks in advance. It’s not terribly difficult, but most guides I’ve found have had you tearing the whole thing apart, which is entirely unnecessary. If you get an LCD&Digitizer combo part, all you have to do is pop off the back cover and the midframe....
Chosen Solution s7 screen has been replaced - on display it shows it is switching and making sounds but the screen isnt turning on any advice is welcome Check the connections for damage and clean them with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. Update (06/12/2020) Check the screen in a dark room and shine a flash light on the screen. Make sure you wake up the phone so it would show an image....
Chosen Solution My screen has been having poor responsiveness. I’ll go to swipe and it will either be unresponsive or it will go haywire, selecting apps I didn’t select, typing things I didn’t type, or just generally going on the fritz. I had been able to mitigate the problem by running my fingernail around the perimeter of the screen to raise it from the casing. I just found my screwdrivers for past parts jobs I have done on my Macbook Pro and iPhone in the past....
Chosen Solution I’ve got a electric whirlpool duet dryer, just did a heating element and high limit thermostat/ thermal fuse while I had the cabinet open. I checked for airflow restrictions, cleaned all lint out of the cabinet and exhaust vent, verified the thermister is operating correctly, and confirmed that the heating element is cycling on and off (and is not grounded to the chassis) I also repaired one seal that was not holding air....

If you use the machine as a desktop replacement which never leaves the charger, then you will want to force it to run on battery (until it gives first low battery warning) at least once every 3 months, to exercise the battery....

Chosen Solution Hello, i have a bit of a problem, I have a mid 2009 MacBook Pro 15 inch and i could only find a screen assembly from a 2011 MacBook pro which of course doesnt have an airport card inside with the same isight and sensor cable that the 2009 have, would it be possible if i bought the 2009 airport card, connected it up with the logic board and left it free inside the case, to hook it up with only two out of the three antenna cables of the 2011 display?...
Chosen Solution I have a 2012 MacBook Air 13" which I had spilled water all over it. After removing battery and drying out for a week I put it back together. When I attach the charger the light goes from green to orange. I pulled the SSD attached it to a USB adapter it works fine. I did my best to find any corrosion (very faint in affected areas) and used the alcohol method to get rid of it....
Chosen Solution I opened a ipod nano 6 to fix the powerbutton, but now 1/3 of the display is dark. but if i wipe with the finger on the darke part, it becomes colour. It looks like i wipe a liquid. Chosen Solution I own an A1708 which needed a battery and keyboard replacement, which I got around to looking at a couple of weeks ago. Wondering if anyone has undertaken this and has any tips in fitting the new keyboard? It’s an absolute nightmare to remove the keyboard due to the strength of the rivets and the fact that the back of the keyboard is a PCB material, so it breaks apart rather than coming off in one piece (like older models)....
Chosen Solution I bought new volume cable but can’t get the adhesive to stick. Any Advice? It kind of depends on what part of the cable. For most of it, red tape is fine. The part that always gives me problems is where it goes from volume to power and is on top of the frame. I use yellow tape for that part. If the volume buttons are giving you trouble, cut out tiny little pieces of red tape....
