Chosen Solution So I have a week old AO Smith 50 gallon hot water heater that I used to replace a 10 year old leaky hot water heater. Installed it last week but I am getting about 8 minutes of hot water. I have done the following… Replaced upper and lower elements (when I pulled the upper coil it was very hot and had a bronze finish to it, the lower coil was cold and looked brand new)Replaced upper and lower thermostatsChecked emptied water and sink filters for signs of a broken dip tubeEmptied the tank and verified that the lower 2/3 of the tank is carrying cool water, upper 1/3 is hotChecked that the wires on top of the heater are sending powerVerified that the unit is receiving 240 The old unit was connected with PEX which I cut and attached shark bite flex tube connection to the top of the new unit....

Chosen Solution When attempting to take pictures and auto focus, the camera will not focus at all. Also the sensor next to it is constantly blinking red, not sure if that has anything to do with it? I have the same problem. change the camera maybe that a problem

While unboxing, I saw that there are four plastic foils on it. I tried to remove them carefully but they are glueing very hard. Chosen Solution Hello :)The touchscreen of my dell latitude stays dark. After troubleshooting it tourned out to be the LED backlight. Can I just change the backlight or do I have to chance the whole touchscreen? Until now I have very few experience in repairing electric devices. Answers in english and german are welcome. Chosen Solution I recently replaced a cracked screen in a friends Galaxy S4. When I first put the phone back together I thought the new screen was faulty as the phone would turn on but the display wouldn’t light up. After some fiddling around I tried turning on the phone while I had the mid frame removed and to my surprise the screen worked just fine. Upon re-installing the mid frame the screen stopped working again....

Chosen Solution I have an s7 edge and the phone won’t charge to 100 percent and the battery drains fast. All this started happening when I swapped batteries. My last battery was shot that’s why I changed it. Your charger port could be bad. That would effect your battery draining fast and not achieving 100% charge. If it is not the charger port, it is the Motherboard.

Chosen Solution My Samsung laptop (Model NP355V5C w/ a RAM upgrade to 8 gigs) recently had the hard drive crash completely. I have replaced it with a SSHD, got a boot disk for the original setup for Windows 8, and can get that to load without issue. I download the Windows 10 upgrade and everything seems to go fine until it is doing the final installation process. It gets to like 20% or whatever and reboots the first time....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a 50” Samsung TV model number UN50TU8000FXZA, I dont know much history about the TV. There is a date of 2019 on the power supply board. I have done the following troubleshooting so far: Symptoms: When plugging in the TV, the Samsung logo comes on the screen, and within 1-2 seconds the logo becomes partially garbled, and additional 1-2 seconds the tv turns off and then turns back on, starting the cycle again....

Chosen Solution Samsung le37b650t2w I am not sure if its the right place to post my issue… I boughet a tv 2 days ago on ebay, its Samsung le37b650t2w, the screen had dimming from day 1 , i looked it up and fixed it by changing from Dynamic to Movie mod and turning the Energy saver to off. Today i turned on the tv on radio for like 6-7 hours, i turn back to a channel and everything is glowing purple (sometimes blue and green) i have been googling it ever since all i could read and see is that T con board is probably broken or have a failure, but i am not quite sure about it since the other cases is not exactly like mine....

Chosen Solution While watching the television, there was a loud pop and the screen went blank. Used remote to shut off TV. Indicator light turned off. Used remote to turn the TV back on and the indicator light illuminated. However there is no picture on the screen. The screen does not light up. @starlifter it’ll help if you tell us what model you TV is. Also, you do want to remove the back of the set and take a look at the power board....

Chosen Solution Hello, I bought, repaired and upgraded this MacBook to 16 GB of RAM but I thought I was handling a Early 2011 version of the MacBook Pro 13’’ by looking at the serial number online. It results I bought the wrong RAM which is 1333 MHz and the laptop supports a frequency of 1600 MHz. My question is should I buy faster RAM before selling it? Hi Steve, 1600 would be a little better but the difference will be little to none....

Chosen Solution My Nikon D800 shutter is not working properly. Whether it is in manual mode, shutter priority it fires at about 1/30 of a second. It can be set at a fast speed and still fires slow. Any ideas? Do you have any Custom Menus set up? Perhaps if you were to go into these and do a reset, you might solve your issue. Does the problem occur when you are in Manual mode or any other modes?...

Chosen Solution Hi. Some day ago my ipad2 wifi+3G (european) stopped to recognize the sim card. I tried everything, iTunes reset, dfu reset, removing sim card, activating and deactivating airplane mode. Nothing…the sim card is ok on my phone so seems to be a hardware related issue and I’m out of warranty since march 1st (%^%%!!). There’s something I can do myself? Thanks!! Is it safe to carry along a Magnetic Mat long-term in a Tool Bag, stored for extended periods of time, next to various devices, RAM, Thumb Drives, External HD’s, and a Laptop? I’m cautious, but iFixit store shows it with HD and Phones on it ‘during’ repairs, etc : but what about carrying this Magnetic Project Mat long term, stored in your ToolBag, nestled next to Thumbdrives, Ext HD’s and Laptops for a long term....

Chosen Solution When I try to turn on my macbook pro, the gray screen comes up and the spinning icon is moving. However, it never leaves this screen. When I had a mac fanatic look at it, he stated that the bootstrapping has failed. Apparently this has to do with something not working correctly when the system is trying to boot. Chosen Solution Today I needed a jump for the old dead battery on my 91 camry 4cyl wagon with 212000 miles. I accidentally put negative on positive & positive on negative on my mom’s car battery AFTER putting the cables in the correct places on my car, it did spark a bit & I turned them around right away but it blew the 80v main fuze on my camry. I replaced the fuse and put in a new battery and now the car will turn over but it won’t start, what else may be wrong?...

Like remove the fan shroud, used a pulley remover and removed the pulley, took the 4 bolts out of it, unhooked the rubber line that connects to the hardline to the pump....
