Chosen Solution So, the original fan was making horribly loud noises, and my computer was often running quite hot. I ordered and installed the part, “MacBook Pro 13" Unibody and MacBook 13" Unibody Fan / Used / Silver, IF163-022-3”. The install seemed to go smoothly. However, now, whenever the computer is on, the fan is running at what seems to be full blast. It’s an improvement, but I feel like usually the fan speeds up and slows down relative to the temp of the computer....

Chosen Solution I am looking to fix my 13" (late 2013) macbook pro retina LCD display. I have a non functional (motherboard problems) (early 2015) macbook pro retina laptop with a fully functional display. I was wondering if I could replace the 2013 LCD with the 2015 model’s screen, or are there different wirings that prevent me from doing that? Thank you If the screen assembly have on it the same lvds cables and antenna cables and webcam cables and if you are 100% sure that will be long enough to keep it in place closing and opening the lid , that will work, most of the cases....

Chosen Solution So my SM57 had lost some gain so I opened up the microphone to see if I could fix it, of course, I just made it worse and the resonator came off the top of the mic and the adhesive seems to be dry so I cant stick it back on. I also tried just holding the loose part back onto where it should be but i couldn’t get any sound from it....

Chosen Solution Hi! About 5 years ago the right USB-Port (the one beside the card reader and the thunderbolt port) of my Macbook Air 13” mid 2013 got some water damage. After it, if I tried to use the USB Port, the Mac got really hot, so I stopped using it. If you look inside the Port you can actually see some burnt material. I still use the Mac, it works perfectly fine since then, I just don’t use the port....

Chosen Solution I cracked my s10e. When replacing back cover and putting on adheasive to make it waterproof. Should i follow the support adheasive guide or the perimeter adhesive guide? My battery covers come with the adhesive already installed. I would use the perimeter guide. Update (06/21/2020) That is what I was referring to. The glass cover over the battery. My back cases come with the adhesive already installed.

Chosen Solution Hello all… A recap: I dropped my phone and it hit the floor. The screen didn’t crack and all works well….. Except for the different color “cloud” that appears. I am guessing its color is dependent on the color the screen is trying to create. The cloud starts out small and as I use the phone it becomes larger. I’ll put the phone down for a while and the next time I pick it up the cloud is gone....

Chosen Solution I open my computer drawer and found my old iPhone 6s (replaced and barely used 1.5 years ago) swollen with the screen popped off from a bulging battery, poor thing. I quickly ordered the ifixit battery replacement kit to get the old battery out of there and safely disposed of. I don’t really plan to use the 6s and mostly just want to keep it stored long term. My question is, now that I have the old battery out, should I install the replacement battery only for it to sit in storage?...

Chosen Solution iPod classic (120 GB) says its playing (play/pause), but won’t go past 0:00 time and actually play. Also its not making the usual sound when I click thru the menus. Patti, the first thing that I would try is to restore the iPod with itunes. Make sure you use the computer that you use to sync your iPod with, otherwise you will lose your library. If that makes no difference, see if you can place your iPod into disk mode by following the Apple procedure " Before placing the iPod into Disk Mode, verify that it is charged....

Chosen Solution This video and pic was taken when I initially found the problem. Afterwards I took the carb off and disassembled it, cleaned it out and found sand on the tip of the float needle. As I was doing this, I checked the fuelcock for a leak. I turn it on the different sets and it flowed when it shouldve, and it cut off when it should’ve just fine. I then put the carb back on and got it running perfectly for only about 7 seconds, then it started to leak again....

Chosen Solution transmission shifting in to nutural while driving SAMIR PATEL, You did not state auto or manual transmission, so I will give a more or less generic answer. If shifter is actually moving from a gear selected to the neutral position, possibly broken/worn engine /transmission mounts, damaged/loose/out of adjustment shift linkage/cable or transmission worn parts internally eg. damaged/worn shift fork. Best to have a good local transmission shop have a look and diagnose the the problem and estimate repair....
