Chosen Solution I have an Alcatel One Touch Idol three the screen is cracked, the display still works but the touch input no longer works. Could you tell me if I need to replace the LCD and the glass panel or if I only have to replace the glass panel. I have had difficulties finding the part on the internet. Chosen Solution After watching tampertecs videos (but no one of contacting him) I want some advice as i am new to fixing TV’s. The TV in question is a LG 42LN5400 which has a EAX64905301 Mainboard. I originally thought it was the TCON board but after finding a 2nd hand tested unit from a cracked Screen i still have the same issue. No capacitors look or feel like they have blown and you can see the image with a torch but its very dark....

I switched to an iphone but need stuff off the old sim card. a bit confused by your question… Sim card doesn’t hold your personal information…just iccid and data information for your carrier and data to work, do you mean SD Card? If you are looking for your personal files… plug your android into computer or OTG Cable and usb driveand transfer your files to computer or drive and then plug in your iphone and transfer them to your iphone....
Chosen Solution My phone slid into my bath after it had drained so it was like a small puddle left. Got it out quick and dried screen and in battery area. Forced excess water out by shaking. The phone was still working normally apart from the speaker, which was intermittent. Tried to lock it again but power/lock button didnt work. Home button still worked unsure if volume buttons work. Stupidly i took battery out, to get the inside backing off to dry it more....
Chosen Solution When I get a notification for a new software upgrade, i start it and then it takes at least two days to download on wifi (if its not wifi the entire time, it takes longer). and then once it reaches the end, it says that it failed to download. and it keeps happening again and again! Please read this forum’s guide. It will tell you how to manually flash the factory images locally....

It appears that the digitizer (touchscreen) either has a loose connection to the systemboard or is faulty and needs to be replaced. Depending on the model number, digitizers are available online. Any suggestions on how I can re-mediate this, besides obviously ordering new screws (mainly to address the screw stuck in the hole)? You could try to “grind” a slot in the standoff so that you can remove it with a straight edge screwdriver....
Chosen Solution i have had 2 dryers do the same thing the first one took 4 years the second one took 4 months the dryer starts fine hot nice after about 10 minutes it stops being hot I have changed out all the trip switches I even bypassed the safety gauges just to test it. neither worked for either dryer cleaned out both dryers and my exhaust is like 1 foot long and clear....
Chosen Solution 2006 Nissan Frontier. Dash warning light comes on. Have replaced both fuel sensors. Light stayed off for a week then came back on. Computer reads Catalytic converter needs to be replace. That said, it runs great! Good gas mileage, exhaust is great etc. what else could it possibly be? Update (09/15/2015) sorry! I meant the dash warning light. To clarify, both fuel sensors were replaced. thank you so much for your help...

I followed guides to get the graphics chip working again. when i first turned it on, it didn’t do anything and took a afew presses of the power button to do anything. When i finally got the computer to post, it would shut down a couple of seconds after the startup chime. Sometimes if i was lucky, it would boot all the way up to OS X and then shut off shortly after....
Chosen Solution I have 2 early 2011 17" PowerBooks both work but run at a snails pace. My main one has all the ram maxed out but still is slow. I believe the main one has that GPU problem. I missed the repair deadline. What I am wondering is if I invested in one of these. Could I get it running fast and would it support the Adobe photoshop, illustrator and Modo 3D software....

Chosen Solution I’ve replaced my charger, then I replaced my battery, then I replaced my DC input power board, and yet I still cannot charge. The battery shows 83% right now, and when I press the little button on the side it indicates the battery is charged. When I connect my Mac charger it turns green but will not turn Amber to indicate actual charging. Any help would be much appreciated....
Chosen Solution Here’s my issue: At one point I renamed a USB to SATA adapter to “USB to SATA” and now since then, all devices are named that if they are in the (only) USB port example: In this picture, my new USB drive is connected, (first time used) and named USB to SATA. same for all other devices. I’m guessing I named the USB port USB to SATA, but I don’t know how to change it back to display the connected device’s name Thanks!...

Chosen Solution I recently got one of these where the hard drive+Optane drive were erased by the recycler selling the unit, and the unit was shipped w/o an OS. I chose to completely forget about Optane and put a real 256GB SSD in, and retaine the 1TB HD for storage, but I also never received the CyberLink SW the unit came with being a factory ODD system. Is it possible to download this on its own (or buy the DVD from Dell, like you could do in the old days), or is this SW just gone for good?...
Chosen Solution Replaced the HD on my Mid-2017 Macbook Pro (A1708) and now it won’t boot. As I was putting the battery cable bracket back over the battery cable while reassembling everything my screwdriver slipped and I saw a little spark (which might be my issue). I tried reinstalling the old HD, holding down the power button for 10 seconds, etc. This is my wife’s Macbook and I was just trying to upgrade her HD....
