Chosen Solution I did the flash light test. I can see the picture is there even though the screen is black. According to most people (i.e. the internet) my “LED driver” is bad. I’m able to pinpoint my tcon board , main board , digital board , and my power supply . What/where is the LED driver? Is there anything else I should test? @serenderpity your LED driver is part of the power board....
Chosen Solution Hi all I’ve had a problem with my iPhone lately where the screen randomly stops working. I found out if i press from behind top left corner of device simultaneously as i hold it (so it becomes some kind of tension), it works right away. Tried to replace LCD and metal shield plate. Someone who might know the problem here? Imad Knight s answer is partially correct, it sounds like whatever connection is there, where or near where you are pressing is not getting good contact....
Chosen Solution I smashed my phone and it wouldn’t respond to HDMI output, let me sync with my laptop or make any sort of noise. I bought a £20 replacement screen off eBay and fit the new screen myself. However, the screen wouldn’t display anything but black. The phone would light up and black screen and allowed me to get on it to recover photos - it worked with HDMI, keyboard and made noises etc....
Chosen Solution Dear all, Variations of this have been posted earlier, but without conclusive results to me. My computer is on and working, however the backlight appears to be broken as is the Apple logo on the backside of the screen. It resembles the brightness when it is on the lowest level. When I use a flashlight, I can slowly navigate through the desktop. When pressing F2, I see on the desktop that the brightness is intended to increase (this image appears with the current brightness level) but the brightness does not actually increase....

Revs good in park or neutral but very sluggish in gear I’ve replaced ecm, plugs and wires, distributor, cap and button, idle air control, mass air flow Ford, through the late 80s and early 90s have distributor issues, if you have replaced plugs and wires, the optical sensor in distributor is probably dirty, you can check by taking off dist. cap and cleaning the sensor....
Chosen Solution UPDATE 3/22/2018 I left the phone off all night, then in the morning I turned it on by plugging it into a wall outlet, phone booted up and wact normal like I was setting it up for the first time. Set it up as a new phone, works great EXCEPT, anything involing the microphone wont work/freezes. Pressing record on voice memos or video recordings, the recording button changes from a red circle to a red square but the timer doesnt count and it doesnt respond immediately to stoping the recording....
Chosen Solution I have a pretty mysterious case with my 2010 imac 27 inch. The screen suddenly went black. The computer boots up fine and runs with an external monitor. When I shine a light into the lcd display i can see the image that should be on the screen: so the panel is recieving the image but the backlight isnt working. I replaced the led inverter board, but nothing changed....

Sometimes dirt can get stuck in the switch. You can use a toothpick or fine tipped tweezers to try to clean them out. If that doesn’t work you’ll have to replace the switch and volume cable flex cable.
