Chosen Solution I have just replaced the screen on a friends iphone xs. I removed battery first and followed the guide to the letter. When i first turn on the phone the screen comes on, i put in passcode and can use apps, surf the net everything. As soon as i lock the screen or it locks itself, then it will not turn back on. The phone still works as i can feel it vibrate and can soft reset it....

Chosen Solution the sim card was put in the slot without the tray insert. How do I get the sim card out? This video explains how to remove it. It is likely you will need to disassemble the phone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AA4UB7wY… You can cut a credit card you don’t need in the width of the sim card slot, apply on one end of it super glue. Here you need to insert the sticky part in the sim slot, make sure it touches the sim, wait a minute or two for the glue to dry after which you pull the credit card together with the sim....

Chosen Solution I just got finished plugging in a new screen assembly for the iPad mini 4. I moved the original home button over, put a thin layer of tape all the way around the screen, and moved the black fabric tape from the old screen at the bottom to the new screen. Everything seemed to work fine except the sleep/wake feature. I could hold the power button down to turn it on or off but I could not put it to sleep once the screen was on....

The 999 will keep flashing even when I turned the camera off, I had to take the battery out to get it to stop. When it was flashing it would not let open menu or look through images; the big screen would just stay black....

Chosen Solution I just got a used 24" LED Cinema Display. Everything works except for the LED backlight. By everything, I mean the sound, USB, camera, the LCD display… I can shine a flashlight on the screen and see the display working, but there’s no backlight. i’ve checked and re-seated all cables, and I can’t find anything fishy other than this VR. it seems to be a little brown around the solders, and the plastic protector on the back of the logic board has melted a bit directly beneath it....

It was not letting me dismiss the notification but I struggled through with it and got it past activation lock and then got it to the home screen with it not loading some applications. Any idea what to do now? You’ll need to connect to a better WiFi network or instead use a Mac system via a wired Internet connection (using iTunes) to re-install the iPadOS....

Chosen Solution I had some water splash onto the bottom of my MacBook Air. A day later, the screen is extremely dark, but I can just barely make out the desktop.
