Chosen Solution So i am attempting to replace a screen on an iPhone 4S. The top screw covering the battery connector won’t turn at all. Any tips to get it out or work around it? One solution could be to apply a really small amount of superstrong glue to a really cheap screwdriver, just like the ones you get when you buy a screen on ebay, and put it into the screw until the glue has hardened....

Chosen Solution I recently changed the vent from recirculating to venting outside. It is now heating slower. What could do this? The difference is the position of the fan and the vent. The vent contains a damper that opens with the air pressure. I have installed these and found I did not position things properly and the damper never opens. These vent are not part of the heating process, they just exhaust cooking fumes from the range below....

Chosen Solution It will not start or move or working any of hydraulics the gauges go crazy we have changed the computers and I have checked all the grounds front to back and it cab and cleaned them and cleaned and charged battery but if I hold the fuel solenoid up and crank it it cranks up with no problem but the gauges still go crazy and still doesn’t move or nothing we checked the voltage the fuel solenoid it read ....

The speakers are blown! You’ll need to see if you can isolate out if only one is damaged or both. Use the sound controller balance control to bias the music to the left or the right. The side that sounds off is the speaker that needs replacing....

Chosen Solution I replaced the OLED screen on my iphone today and after turning it back on everything seems to be working fine except 3D touch. I checked in the settings and it is enabled and it was set to medium, which is what its been set to when i first got it i guess. 3D touch is now very difficult to activate even when the setting is on light. Having it set to light i still need to push harder than i used to when it was set to medium....

Chosen Solution My PS2 Slim’s disc drive makes a rapid (less than 1 second interval) clicking / grinding noise while reading a disc. Currently, it’s working perfectly fine but the noise is a bit grating. Can i mitigate it somehow? Maybe the laser sled zero position switch is broken, but I’m not sure if all ps2s have that switch because some drive models may be self zeroing.

Chosen Solution Hi. I replaced the screen of my iPhone 6 Plus after it getting cracked, and somehow, the rear facing camera and flash does not work in any application. In the camera app, the front facing camera works like normal, but it just shows a blank screen on the rear camera view. The moment you decided to open the device yourself (something we should all be able to do without consequence, and plenty of us here do anyway), you would have voided any warranty from Apple. They may refuse to service your device entirely, or just charge a fairly high price for something they know you can do cheaper and faster yourself....

However now when I charge the iPod it will never indicate full battery status and always shows the battery charge status at around two thirds charged. when charging it never seems to finish charging, even when left plugged in for 24hrs straight. Chosen Solution After liquid damage to my Early 2011 MBP, I replaced my old 820-2963-B board with another board (same model number) from a Late 2011 13" MBP. I can power the computer on while it’s plugged in and the MagSafe has a constant green light. However, the battery icon had a black X over it. I replaced the battery with one from amazon and installed it today. The icon still has a black X and cannot run off of the battery alone....

I followed the directions to replace the LCD carefully, and now it just gives me a white-ish grey screen. I try hard restart pressing down volume and power. I try and replaced the charging board no change. Can it be the battery or display ? NicolausX you are not telling us what you did about the water damage not are you telling us if your computer still recognizes your phone etc....
