Chosen Solution Mobile display shows FASTBOOT and mobile is not responding. Hold the power button for 10 Seconds. Your device will reboot itself. Leaving your phone in Fastboot for 1-2 minutes should make it reboot itself. just press on to volume up button and power button for about 30 seconds According to what i know, your phone is in a mode called EDL (Emergency Download). I think the ROM got corrupted, so a reflash should fix it....

Chosen Solution I don’t know how to post this with a photo of the screen but if there are any old timers out there who remember when TV stations we not on 24-hours a day that when they went off the air the screen was white background with random dots on it. My daughters screen looks like that, seems to be functioning - you can call it and it rings, but no screen definition at all....

Chosen Solution My Asus Zenbook Touch UX31A SD Card slot has stopped working. I tried updating the driver but that didn’t work. I found if I stick the card in and out sometimes it works briefly. Do I need to replace it? If so it is something I can do? I have a lot of experience with fixing desktops but not lap tops. Where would I get the part? thanks...

Chosen Solution I ordered a new logic board from iFixIt and it already has a serial number for another machine. Is there any way to replace the serial number with the one that ACTUALLY goes with MY machine? I will be emailing/calling tomorrow. Just figured I’d ask in the mean time. Thanks! Chosen Solution I followed all the install photos and directions. It’s just the connection forces the wires out instead of underneath with the new thermal sensor. Just want to make sure it’s okay before closing. Any suggestions, I’m open. After comparing the photo you attached with photos from our teardown for this device, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with that. It looks to me like the issue is caused by a different shape in the fact that you have to use an adaptor to fit a standard-sized SSD where the old big-disc hard drive went....

I get green light on the charger adapter, battery removed cause its dead, and both fans spin. No startup sound or lcd or keyboard lightup. The front button light comes on and power button turns fans on and off and fans will stay running which makes me think the machine is running but i don’t have anyway to tell....

Does the top radiator hose feel warmer than the bottom hose after the engine has been run? For some reason, i thought it is a good idea to replace the HDD with an SSD and ordered the OWC update kit. I replaced the hard drive without any dramas and at the first start, the display just showed a static signal (like old tv without aerial). Chosen Solution My side by side refrigerator is not cooling. The evaporator fan and condenser fans are both running. Air is blowing in freezer. Checked the overload start relay on side of condenser. It’s fine and condenser is running and not hot. Everything is running as it should but not cold. Any advise on what my issue could be? What about the compressor? Are you sure the compressor is running? If it is, then either you’ve lost your refrigerant charge, or there’s an internal failure in the compressor....
