Chosen Solution Have a MBP 15" A1286 that will not detect Airport Card. I have replaced the airport card with the same model. Have ran Apple Hardware Test (AHT) using snow Leopard disc and no problems detected. Replaced all cables associated with it airport card. Zapped the PRAM/reset SMC. Put another hard drive in, imaged that with snow Leopard and it does not detect airport card. Am I missing anything to try?...

As to the smudges, it’s not dust! You have LCD persistence (burn-in) this is when a part of the screen has a static image which causes the liquid crystals to become stuck in the wrong state....

Chosen Solution anybody ever seen this the GPU you or what Yes it is a known issue by the manufacturer. They don’t admit it until you’ve tried all of their phone support troubleshooting while under warranty. The digitizer craps out. Mine went just a few weeks outside of warranty and was a little worse than pulling teeth but finally convinced them to send me another one. I haven’t done enough research yet to see if anyone has spent the tech time to fix issue without replacing the digitizer....
Chosen Solution So this system has 17.2v on PP18V5_G3H with 0 resistance to ground. Removed R6905. Still shorted R7062 gets 7v instead of those 17v. Removed and board still shorted. Fuse on that line is ok.. Any ideas? Did this system have a liquid spill? The MagSafe LED is driven by SMC, I’m not sure I follow why you are focused on 3.425V G3Hot. I would go back to PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_OUT Q7050 si7137dp as I’m suspecting that’s your issue....

You can pull on the shifter lever till your blue in the face and it will not budge and another time it works fine and shifts smooth like there was nothing wrong . When it wont shift if I leave it for a while and come back to it it will usually work . Can anyone suggest a fix for this...
