Chosen Solution Vendor believes it is a cable issue. After leaving it alone a couple of days because of work, I powered it up and now display looks great. Weird! Wow thats a really messed up display! You’ll need a new one. Did you get your system wet at some point?

Here’s a link to the wiring connections for your car. (I think). Check that there is +12V power on the orange wire and the yellow wire into the radio (as shown in the link)
Chosen Solution Yes - this is another of my rather picky issues. I have a 2010 13” Unibody I’ve been using for quite a while, and something that’s been bothering me is its lack of a startup chime. I believe this is something that can be done using the terminal but everything I’ve found on the web is for the newer Macs that don’t have the chime enabled by default (StartupMute=%00) which obviously doesn’t work....

Should I heat on front to remove strips more easily? Should/can I use isopropyl on inside without damaging? Thanks I don’t know, but I would use heat to remove the solid pieces, then Isopropyl 90% or better to remove the residue. BUT if the battery is still connected, do not get it on any circuitry

Chosen Solution Hello, I replaced my iPhone5 battery and during that process something went wrong. My LCD screen wouldn’t turn on anymore and it is probably completely broken. So I bought a new LCD/digitizer. I fully replaced it and my iPhone is working again. However my screen is very dim. The backlight is working up to around 35% of the brightness slider. I can dim my screen with the slider to 0% (and make it brighter again), however above around 35% of the slider it makers no difference....

If I power on with remote it won’t flicker but either way I power on the LED flashes 5 times upon power button being pushed. Can the power board be damaged partially. Chosen Solution The SD card will not stay in the slot. It no longer clicks into place. Has anyone ever repaired/replaced this part? JillEMoody , Check the video link below, you may have a small piece of debri inside the SD slot not allowing card pin to lock in card. Accidentally did a SMC thinking it would make it faster without backing it up first. It reset the computer and brought up options to re-install OS. Shows disk needs to be repaired, but the computer can’t repair it. I need the apps on it, I don’t have a disk for them....
Chosen Solution Hello Here’s my issue: I want to upgrade my screen from FHD to UHD on a G9-792 and since I see both 4k and 2k versions on the market, I think its possible. I’ve did some googling and found out that: FHD pannel is: LP173WF4-SPF1, and ebay sellers state its has a 30 pins eDP connector. -UHD pannel is: B173ZAN01.0 (AUO109B) and it has a 40 pins connector. I’ve did some further research by partially disassembling my laptop and here’s what I see inside - it actually has a 40 pin display connector on the motherboard while my display is FHD....
