Chosen Solution Does anyone know of a source for replacement headphone jacks? I work for a school and we have a large number of damaged headphone jacks on otherwise still working chromebooks. Chosen Solution I have an HP Envy and it says I need to replace ink on the main screen and it won’t let do anything else on the main screen until I do so. I have replaced it twice now and it still says to replace ink. @anthonyme23 if you are not using original HP cartridges it is possible that this is related to the scam that HP is pulling with their firmware....

Chosen Solution When my Samsung Galaxy S5 is plugged in and the battery reaches 100% charge the screen turns on and stays on. If I charge it over night it means the screen is on for several hours. I’ve found that after this happens the phone seems to overheat and I have trouble using it. To get around this problem now I turn the phone off when charging. It can only display video on external display and works just fine, I already pointed a flash light directly into the screen but nothing can be seen it’s completely black. Chosen Solution i have a thinkpad X270 and changed memory bank once. And now the memory bank is not woking. But when i trying to open the rear cover i found the cross grain of the screw is gone. So is there anyway i can fix my laptop now? Hi @pamdal, If IIRC, you can remove the whole bottom cover to expose the whole mainboard, it would be tedious, the RAM access door is just having screw to hold the cover....

Chosen Solution My phone was submerged in the Atlantic Ocean for about 5 minutes, and it powered on at first, but when it dried and we tried to charge it, it got exceptionally hot. We have not got it to power in since. Taking off the screen revealed accumulations of salt, but no other internal damages, until my brother accidentally severed the connecting cable from the front facing camera to the rest of the phone....

Chosen Solution sorry for zoning out, but when I did my memory upgrade I put all the screws in a cup so I did not lose them, but I did not recall where the long screws(13.5 mm) for the 17"unibody were located when I pulled them out. I found out that there are multiple places the long screws fit, and I am trying to get them back to where they belong....

Chosen Solution I recently purchased a MBA Mid-2011 Model and was interested in the possibility of replacing (if required?) the aluminum display bezel with the MBP Glass Display Bezel (black border, glass cover). I believe the dimensions are identical for the 13" models. Would it be as simple as attaching the replacement bezel over the stock MBA, or are there tolerance concerns with the additional thickness when closed? If not, is it possible to remove the aluminum bezel without removing the display from the body?...

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I have an Iphone 7 which had a broken screen and the loudspeaker didn’t work. Easy repair because I fix Iphone’s for a quite long time. So I ordered every part I needed. After replacing the screen and loudspeaker the Iphone worked fine except the loudspeaker was still defective so I ordered a new dock because that could be the reason the loudspeaker wasn’t working. After replacing the dock and putting the Iphone back, it got stuck on the Apple logo for 2 minutes and then suddenly it shut down....

Chosen Solution So basically my PS4 will turn off on its own randomly. It’s as if someone just unplugs the power cord from socket. Sometimes it will go on whole day wiithout turning off. It’s not overheating issue as I have cleaned my PS4 and when it manages to restart it doesn’t give me any overheating warning. I have also replaced my drive but no fix. I have even unplugged everything and left my PS4 like that overnight but no fix....

Chosen Solution So I bought a used iPhone 6 with a non-working flash and rear microphone. Knowing they are both on the same flex cable (power button) i replaced that cable. This did not fix the problem. I took the just removed flex cable and plugged it into a different iPhone and the flash and microphone worked. So I have narrowed the problem down a bit. It’s not the actual flash or microphone or their flex cable....

Chosen Solution Hello, I had a smashed screen and I took it to a reputable repair guy and he replaced the screen and the phone says " DISABLED Connect to ITunes." I plug it up and it says Cannot connect to Itunes because of unknown error. Was not backed up!!! Im in dire need to get my pictures saved! I don’t want to Reset phone in the potential fixing process. I know after I smashed my phone it sounded like it was pushing buttons so it probably disabled because of all the “ghosting” button pushing....

Chosen Solution Help, I replaced my SSD drive and my iMac was crazy fast it was AWESOME. 7months later the LCD screen came crashing down. {I guess the double sided tape I bought from crucial.com was not that great} Replaced my LCD screen and my computer is SO SLOW and the fan runs at full speed. Download TG Pro and turn off the fan but what do I do about my SUPER slow computer....
