Chosen Solution I replaced my screen, it worked fine until I snapped it into the casing now it stays black Assuming you’ve plugged it into a computer and checked if it shows up in itunes: Check that the LCD cable didn’t jump out of place and disconnect and reconnect it again making sure you feel it click into place. If it’s still black despite that try another screen as you might have damaged the cable during reassembly....

Chosen Solution Hi all, My power button stopped clicking in - when you pressed against it the button never moved and didn’t click. I brought a new power button ribbon cable and replaced it. When I put the button in and hold the bracket against it the button works and clicks, however as soon as I put 1 screw in the bracket the power button stops clicking and goes stiff again....
Chosen Solution Hallo! I have the common problem, where the backlight of the PC monitor is turning off, after setting the brightness above a certain value. Mine was around 65. The monitor just turns off the lights and I have to press the power button to turn it off and on again. After opening the case, I saw that one resistor was burnt and I changed it. The monitor then, didn’t turn off even after setting it to 100 brightness BUT the inverter started burning and fuming....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, accidently snapped the blue wire leading to the speaker when changing display assembly. It appears to have snapped off right at the logic board. I have medium skills with a soldering iron. Realisticly, what are my chances of getting this thing back together and is there a way of removing the bottom part of the logic board to get at the right spot (the wire connects to the underside of the logic board) Thanks in advanced for any help or suggestions....

My Macbook Air (A1369) works just perfect, but when I try to turn it off, after the screen goes black, suddenly it starts to beep (3 beeps - period - 3 beeps) and you can hear fan working. I mean they both use 4 pin connectors? I would assume iOS could detect a 7 battery and use it correctly(charging , etc) but I don’t know for sure. Chosen Solution Sometimes I am unable to change the source (if I switch from AUX to radio) the “entertainment system” turns off. The display screen (when malfunctioning) shows all black lettering or is all blank. It is very random, cold/warm weather doesn’t increase the chances. Car battery has been changed out recently too, and issue still occurs. if you can get the stereo out of the dash make sure there’s no obvious signs of damage to any wires and that all the looms are securely put together and nothing is loose in any sockets or clips....

I’ve had the U2 chip replaced, have tried 3 different batteries and replaced the lightening port. Hasn’t fixed it. I noticed that the flash isn’t working. My next step is to replace the upper component cable. Any other ideas? The fact that the battery is being drained after 8 hours without use indicates a parasitic draw....
