Chosen Solution Does the Samsung Galaxy S8 use the same LCD screen as the Galaxy S8 Active or vise versa? If so where can I order parts? I am asking because I have the active. Hello Vrmmorg, From what I can find out through research. The S8 and the S8 Active share the same screen, BUT the S8 Active has a special coating on the top of the glass. So I am assuming that the screen will work, but it will not have the “shatterproof” coating that Samsung puts on the Active....

Chosen Solution Macbook Pro 15 Inch A1286 October 2008 So, it appears as though my Macbook Pro 15 inch screen LCD/LED backlight has stopped working. I have done all the basic stuff, reset the Pram, SMC etc.. No changes. I can indeed see the screen working by using a flashlight, or shining a light through the Apple logo. Chosen Solution A portion of the screen, almost half, has this problem. It flickers somewhat and keeps temporary afterimage whenever what’s on the screen changes there are also black lines every other pixel. This seems to be somewhat affected by temperature and when it’s warm enough these effects almost completely stop. Anyone know what could be causing this? Any change this could be fixed by anything less than replacing the entire screen?...

Chosen Solution my phone was working fine just a cracked screen, so i tried to replace it, i followed all the stems excatly and my screen wont turn on. i kow the logic board an the back of the phone is still working because when spamming the on button i accidentally called the police with no idea i was doing so. what can i do? Re-seat the connectors and while you’re at it, inspect them for any damage or creases....

Yesterday I went to turn it on to no avail. What I notice is the front White LED flashes once quickly and that’s about it. The battery appears fine as I had been working previously with no problems. Chosen Solution I replaced the housing on a customers iPhone x 1x is not focusing, 2x works fine, flash works It was working fine before I cleaned the camera lens and the glass, 3x the focus problem persists. I’ve ordered a camera replacement to see if that’ll work. Will this affect face ID? Also what may of caused the focus problem? The FaceID is located within the front camera/speaker assembly so shouldn’t be affected by rear camera replacement....

First there was a charging problem. i could’t recharge the battery, i tought it was the cable, i used a other (original) charger, but the problem was still there. I renewed the charging cable and the battery, still the same problem. the problem is that there is a red cross over the battery icon , and if the tablet is off, and i recharge it , you see a battery icon charging, but the color is orange/gold....

Chosen Solution Hi, The audio jack on my Nokia 6 stopped functioning. At first it would connect intermittently , then you needed to position the jack in a particular way to get stereo sound and now it’s outright not working or connecting when you plug in the jack. Any ideas on fixing this issue? I assume you’ve tried different headphones? It definitely sounds like a loose connection. You can try cleaning the port out with compressed air and a tooth pick with some rubbing alcohol(dipped on the tooth pick) if it’s not due to dust,it’s probably a bad port....

Chosen Solution I have a MBP (mid 2012) 15 inch Retina that won’t be upgradeable to macOS Big Sur. Is it possible to replace the logic board from a MBP (2015) 15 inch Retina. Sorry no, just not possible. The 2012 uses a different SSD and display than the 2015 so you would need to also swap that out which would be more expensive than just finding a used 2015 system....
