Chosen Solution I broke my screen and bought a replacement. The new screen requires the old, what i presume is the digitizer. I need to disconnect the two larger ribbon cables, but i cant figure out how without breaking them. Does anyone know? Update (02/18/2021) Old and new lcd Hi @runarsj , Not sure but I think the cables come as part of the display panel assembly so perhaps they are permanently attached to the display panel’s touchboard connectors and shouldn’t be removed....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Aluminium Mid 2008 is not working. I’ve already change the LVDS cable and the display screen. The common things to do like press the cmd, option and P and R keys when booting don’t work. I don’t know what to do, I’ve seen a lot of people having the same problem but all of them have MacBooks where you can change the inverter board, I think that in my case this is not possible....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I ordered a new front screen for my Samsung S9. I went through the procedure of heating up the adhesive and removing both the front and the back covers. I then heated the adhesive on the battery and replaced that.I then tried to install the new front screen. I don’t have any display appear, but I can hear the phone turn on when i hit the power button, and if i put it on the charger....

Chosen Solution My screen started flickering and the touch pad is not working(but working with a mouse) when it does that. The weirdest part is it works well one day and if I restart next day it will flicker continuously and never stops. I tried the following things. Resetting NVRAM and SMC but No luck. Run it in safe mode but it still doesn’t solve the problem. Ran the diagnostic and it says everything is good :( Cleaned almost all of the software except chrome and adobe....

Chosen Solution how do i get past the part that shows how to link or blue tooth to a phone The watch will not work without a phone, because it is designed to be work from the phone. Without a phone, it cannot connect to wifi, show notifications, or even display the correct time. Very few smart watches work without a phone. I wish I could help, but it just won’t work....

Chosen Solution So I spilled a smoothie on my brand spankin new MBP 2015 (latest model), and thankfully, everything still works properly. Chosen Solution I recently bought a used iphone, I opened it to see if it had water damage and I didn’t see signs of moisture damage. I had been using if for a couple of weeks and I started to notice that this showed up when I connected the 3GS to a wall charger “charging is not supported with this accessory” I would just replug it in and it would start charging, this came up more frequently until it just doesn’t show up (the message) and it just doesn’t charge with the wall charger....

Chosen Solution What could be the proble? I set the fan to low and it will go high and low by itself!! Hi @velezgmario , It appears as though the blower motor resistor may be starting to fail. Once it fails completely then the fan will only work on the high setting. Here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the blower motor resistor in a 2006 Ford Explorer....

I know that there are two extra leads running off of the flight controller, but there are no more buttons on the controller. On the iPhone 5S and 5C, it’s like there’s a ghost controlling the phone. Numbers, contacts, and apps all are being used without touching the screen. This happens on the iPad mini if there’s static electricity but we know the fix. However not sure where that could be coming from in the iPhone....

Chosen Solution My antenna has slowly gone out on my iPhone 6. It started by going to roam in places where I used to get service, then it just went to searching. Resetting network settings worked a couple times, but only for an hour or so. Replaced SIM, nothing. Had the internal antenna replaced and it worked for a day or two and then went to roam and then searching. I replaced the internal antenna and WiFi antenna and the same thing again, roam and then searching....

Chosen Solution Are there any hints for faster charging (for example using the iPad power supply) in the iPhone 4 ? As the battery has a higher capacity, this would be even more useful. What is the charging ciruit rated at? (fortunately the iPad proved that the connector is good for at least 2A). Many LiPoly cells are now rated for very high charging currents without bad effects on battery life....

Chosen Solution So I had this iPhone 6S stored for like a year, was working fine when stored, not being used for months, and now I got a new battery, replaced it without any issues and I got random No Service, sometimes it does get 3G/4G, I can make calls, but I cannot use cellular data (ie navigate to any website). I have tried: unplugging and cleaning the so called “cellular antenna” and that antenna cable also....
