Is it repairable? dcnunz88, since we can’t see what you see and going only by your description it sound slike a backlight error. This could be either due to a bad inverter or bad backlight. If your TV is still under warranty, I’d got that route. If it is not, you could try a new inverter....

Chosen Solution For the last week I have been scouring the web looking for anyone to confirm or deny(with evidence) whether this is possible. So far? I’ve found nothing. Not even someone else asking the question. But I cant be the first that’s wanted to do this. Chosen Solution Working on a 04 quest. My first stupid mistake was not disconnecting the battery. I was changing the O2 sensor and the rubber boot on the alternator slipped up and the socket grounded the positive lead to the alternator. There really was not a spark, but there was a quick puff of smoke. And a slight pop from the battery I believe. The van starts but no electronics work except for the display....

Chosen Solution I just won an action for a Chromebook 11-1101us and noticed the power supply wasn’t coming with it. Everything I read states that it needs a micro B 5.25v 3A charger. I was thinking… I have a PC power supply sitting around that states on it’s side that the 5V line supplies up to 23A. For purely charging purposes, if I splice in a cable to the 5v line, will this be a good way to charge the laptop until I get replacement adapter?...
Chosen Solution Since yesterday and suddenly the above bar in my A5 galaxy phone shows a notification which is a plus sign inside a semi cycle without clarifying its meaning in the background I tried to remove it by resetting and restarting it but with no use …please help and my regards I think you are referring to “Data Saver” feature. settings->data usage -> turnoff go to settings, data usage and if any of the boxes are ticked, untick them to see if it takes it off
Chosen Solution G.E. DRYER MOD. DCVH680EJ1MS stops after running 2 minutes in heat cycles only ,but can be started back up only to stop after another 2 minutes. Dryer will run fine in non heat cycles.What’s up with that? Thanks, Jim @kjim check the cycling thermostat (outlet thermistor). It cycles the heat on and off to maintain the proper temperature. If the thermostat is defective, it may keep the heat on too long, causing the dryer to get too hot and to shut down....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to upgrade the internal memory on the PSP Go? In theory, Yes. In practicality, no. Replacing chips on a board is a very complex and expensive process, unless you have multi thousand dollar tools and a lot of time, it isnt worth it, even if you did have that equipment, good luck finding a compatable memory chip. Chosen Solution Guys I need help. My s7 edge reboots itself whenever plugged in. Same happens with different adapters and cables. The battery percentage is all over the place and it isn’t decreasing. The false percentage problem started to appear after I tested a third party battery with my s7 (note: the battery is working fine). Is it possible that the battery shortcirculted my motherboard? Your particular model is known to have issues with failed backlights....
Chosen Solution I just received my replacement keyboard. Question about the blue film covering the connector on the ribbon cable. Do I remove this or keep it on? See pic. Keep it on, that is supposed to be there. Without it the keyboard cable won’t stay plugged into the connector.

Just get a new phone, that one is old, slow and almost obsolete, so its really not worth fixing and the best bet it to just get a new phone. Any one know what the problem could be and is there a diy fix for it l? @workforit since the bottom part of the screen still seems to be working this is most likely a panel issue. It appears as if the LCD Gate drivers have failed. Remove the back cover from your TV and take a good look at the board that connects directly to the LCD panel via some very thin ribbon cables....

I would say you pushed too hard… Is it one of these cheap replacement displays? Because they are known to be very very thin compared to the “original”
