Chosen Solution I replaced my battery (Macbook Pro 13inch early 2015) with ifixit about a year ago. Now it only can be charged to 15% of capacity (1046mAh instead of 6559mAh). There are 371 charge cycles. Am I doing something wrong? Should I expect a better life from a replacement battery? Any suggestions other than buy another battery?? Sounds like you might have over cooked the board or some of the components shifted. You’ll need to take the logic board fully out to make a detailed inspection comparing a known good board (use these as a reference) Did you find a missing or shifted device....

Chosen Solution I repair and sell phones to cex and I just had my first rejection. They said when they put pressure on the bottom there was some sort of ripple on the screen (Similar to when you push a computer monitor sort of thing). It doesn’t seem very bad. Chosen Solution Hey folks, I have this neat older monitor that I’d like to preserve. It still has a very functional resolution and size (2560 x 1600 @ 30"). These are notorious for having overheating scaling chips on the T-con, yet I don’t think that is my problem as the screen is simply black (or it occasionally works) and T-con failures are colorful, right? At least, there are telltale artifacts and such before they fail completely, correct?...

Chosen Solution Hey guys this is my first time posting here.. i recently got my screen replaced because it broke… so this one local repair shop guy had an original LCD laying around from a bust iPhone 5s… and at first whilst he was installing he was connecting the battery to test the LCD and it was showing blank so he finally got it to turn on and he assembled the phone everything works properly the touch and all but theres one problem… when the display/phone is on sleep when you press the sleep button it comes on but its black… it is obvious that the display turns on but its black then after a few clicks of the sleep button it comes on… its very annoying although it dsnt happen when the phone is on charge… so what could be the problem?...

Not sure how to insert a picture but its blue, translucent plastic about 3.5mm x 7mm with two holes on it. These holes - one is wider than the other and slot shaped. Chosen Solution I was streaming video when the screen became pixelized & snowy. It wouldn’t respond to the mouse or the keyboard. I did a hard shutdown and plugged in the power supply. After it was plugged in for a bit, I tried to boot it with no results until the alarm started sounding. The alarm sounded for several minutes but no other indication that the computer was working. The alarm has since stopped sounding and I’ve tried to turn it on but it’s not responding at all now....

Chosen Solution ok her toddler was watching kids show ,possibally. accidently hit a button . .tried plugging it in nothing just a black screen powering it on nothing marcia.c.mckay this could be totally incidental. I would suggest that you plug it into it’s charger and let it charge for a few hours. Just to rule out that the battery is empty. If it is charged but does not come on, try a hard reset....

Chosen Solution I need to replace a microphone of a iMac 21.5" 4K Mid 2017. Since is an “non product numbered” for Apple, does anyone out there has a clue where I can find this item? If your mic is garbled then you forgot to cut a notch in the adhesive tape so its not blocking the mic. If the mic is really not working you need Apple P/N 821-01020 which works in either the 2017 or 2019 4k systems....

Chosen Solution tried to power up before closing the phone but getting a black screen. phone will vibrate when i press power but thats it. just trying to get info from an app that wasnt backed up. if i can get the screen to light im hoping i can navigate to the app and take a pic of the info i need any ideas Check to make sure you connected it well or if the battery you have works

Chosen Solution When we tested these adapter we only had problems. Once we got one that worked we needed to use a bootable USB thumb drive to prep the drive as the internet recovery won’t work. Even afterwards during our testing we say a lot of CRC errors. I think you really should return both the carrier and SSD and just get a real Apple SSD which are more available these days....

Chosen Solution Followed the guide to the letter for replacing the thermal compound. Put it all back together and nothing happens when I turn it on. Just a black screen? have I fried the logic board ? what should I do next ? Hook it up to an external monitor to test the GPU and video components.

Chosen Solution I push the ‘print’ button’ and , although it make some sound, and one of the wheels is turning (the one on the middle bottom) the ribbon doesn’t move. How to fix it? Ok guys I tried factory resetting, turning the spindle clockwise 5 times, pulling the tape up so it sticks out from the cartridge, and maybe a few other things I forgot. Chosen Solution My Roomba 560 stopped charging. Instead the Clean button flashes orange every 2 seconds or so, with a clicking sound. After researching, I bought a new battery online and installed it. It then powered on fine but when I put it on the charging station, it flashed red stating “Charging Error 1.” It then reverted to the orange flashing Clean button accompanied by the clicks.
