Not exactly sure what Eric is using here but I find 3M two sided tape works well in this application Hope this helps I just recently replaced battery and screen(after breaking screen during battery repair). I used double sided tape to hold the screen together. Anything on amazon would probably work, I prefer you get 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm width pack cause the 1-2mm works great for the side bezel while the 2-3mm works good for the top and bottom....
Chosen Solution I have this error after batteryreplaement. Pls help Do as Scott suggested, re-install the original screen. If the original screen also does this, then the problem is at the logic board level. You will need to check the condition of the connector and the components in the surrounding area. If the original screen works fine, then the replacement screen is defective or was damaged.
Chosen Solution I’ve tried rebooting, resetting, and disconnecting power for 3 minutes and reconnecting, downgrading the firmware and upgrading back to current: nothing brings back the wireless 5G. Is this something that can be repaired? So I talked with apple support, after walking through settings in Airport Utility, it was discovered the 5Ghz network name was deleted or broadcasting as the same name as the 2Ghz (which won’t work). After re-adding a 5Ghz name, it’s broadcasting as normal....

Then I found these parts had come loose (on the part of the motherboard where the transistors and power cable enters in). Does anyone know what they are ? Chosen Solution howdy I recover data when screen totally black if it is just the screen than you can get the screen replaced, and do it normally. but if the damage is more than the screen than you can use a teardown, physically take out the data, and put it in a new phone. Chosen Solution So in the process of changing the shell of my switch lite, i accidentally took off the clamp that holds the ribbon cable connecting the left side motherboard to the main motherboard. Is there any way to properly fit the clamp back into the socket? I had the same this happen to me in a MacBook. Putting the clamp back on is possible but very finicky and difficult. What I would recommend doing is putting the cable back into place and securing it with a tiny amount of electrical tape....
