Chosen Solution Got myself a Gigabyte Aorus 5MB gaming laptop around May last year, the screen started to flicker by December, I sent it to the retail store where I bought this laptop from to get it fixed since it’s still under warranty. They contacted me that they had replaced the screen of the laptop and now it’s working and sent it back to me about a month after. It’s only been two weeks since I got the laptop back and the screen starts flickering again....

Chosen Solution HI, My son’s Macbook Air is having some issues with the display. When he turns it on, the image is showing and he’s able to login, but after a few seconds, sometimes minutes, a vertical line appears and the screen goes blank. If connects to an external display, it works fine and there it doesn’t show any vertical line. I already tried resetting SMC, PRAM and NVRAM but it didn’t solve the issue....

Chosen Solution My iPod video (5th generation) is not powering on anymore. In the right light, I can see the Apple logo appear on the LCD and the lower 20% of the screen or so shows black horizontal scan lines. Chosen Solution i have 4 iPhone 3gs’s with this exact issue. i tried to put the board into another housing to sell, and it no longer will read sim cards correctly. when i insert a sim card, It says No SIM in the top left, but sometimes will have carrier settings and phone number show up in settings, but those take over a minute to show up. if i power it off and back on with the sim card installed, it will say Searching… and continue to say that even if i remove the sim card....

Chosen Solution The middle piece of the blue side of my Rubik’s Cube is unusually loose (but still attached), meaning the blue side turns far more easily than the other sides and, if I try to solve the Cube at my preferred speed (fast enough to solve in 1 minute), it’s unusually easy for a piece to pop out. Taking off the edge and corner pieces reveals that, unlike the stable center pieces, the center of the blue side can be tilted side to side and pulled maybe a few millimeters away from its normal position....

Chosen Solution how to check if my laptop fan is working at all , i have e5-573 laptop it is overheating when i am playing games i can’t feel any air coming out from the cooler side and i can’t hear any noise too cpu temp at idle 45C cpu temp when playing 90C i used to have hp probook it was overheating too but when it does i can feel a strong air coming out and hear a strong fan sound , thanks...

So i replaced a display for a friend, and there were stripped screws on his heatshield from a previous repair shop, so i just told him it will work without it for a few days, and bought a new one. And now, after i changed the display, today he called me, that his Apple Pay won’t work, for some reason. Might that be an issue related to the heatshield, or should i try replacing the antenna?...

Had same problem but hooked up to external monitor and saw a new update notification. Update fixes the issue. Must have been some bad code.

Chosen Solution Hi! I replaced my iphone 6 screen, and i noticed something irregular. The cable from the screen to the curcuitboard in the phone has something on it. I have never seen something like it before and i was wondering if it is something i should be worried about? Here are two pictures of the cable showing the irregularity. It seems to be covered by a black tape-piece as shown in the picture....

Chosen Solution Did someone manage to recover a good battery from a dead MacBook Pro late 2013 or similar? The battery on my MBP 13 2014 is swollen and I have this broken 2013 whose battery could be a replacement. Should I go for a “heat removal” or will using adhesive removal be a better solution? Update (09/18/2021) I decided to try and get my first experience with glued batteries. I used a great glue solvent I’ve been using for years when cleaning for repair or maintenance and lots of care and patience....

Chosen Solution I accidentally spilled a cup of water on my keyboard. I disassembled it and clean it (not the battery section). My macbook works just fine now, but it would not power on with the battery. I have to have an adapter plugged in for it to work. The adapter glows orange only. At first my mac says my battery was at 94% and i “Need to replace my battery now”....

Chosen Solution My mid-2009 17" MacBook Pro started smoking when I plugged in the adapter a few weeks ago. Apple says it’s obsolete and won’t repair. I’m windering if I can replace the motherboard and DC-in MagSafe Board with mid-2010 versions. I love the size and really would not like to lose it quite yet. Unlike the 13" & 15" Apple did not make any changes between these systems so you can replace the logic board with the newer mid 2010 board....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced most of the parts on my iPhone 6 Plus. The sound on it keeps coming and going. One minute it works, the next it doesn’t. If I use a music app such as Pandora, the sound works fine. If I make a call or if someone calls or text, sometimes the sound works and sometimes it doesn’t (on both the earpiece and on speaker mode). Chosen Solution My buddy spilled something on their mac book air, causing the keyboard and mouse to not work, not even the power button. I ordered a new battery on ebay and a new ribbon cable from amazon. I replaced the ribbon cable the battery icon still says it’s not holding a charge and the keyboard still doesn’t work.
