Tessa 61395 for the minimal adhesive surfaces like Sony Xperia, HTC and Motorola. Red pet double sided transparent tape for other stuff like iPad digitizer and large width bordered glass screens.
Chosen Solution I found a free RCA RLC3273A-B TV by the side of the road yesterday and took it home. It doesn’t power on. The power indicator light also remains off. All the capacitors seem to be good, and I can’t find a fuse on the board that could’ve blown. What can I do to try to repair it? Jackson Legge follow the AC power on the board. Chosen Solution I believe the blade SSD on my 2017 27-inch Fusion Drive iMac is faulty. The issues I get are extremely slow boot up and shut downs when it freezes up. I ran EtreCheck and it said the SSD was very slow. I was told on the Apple forums the error reports point to the storage for the reason for the kernel panics. I now run macOS on an external spinning HDD and I have to eject the old Macintosh HDD from Finder which definitely does help but still occasionally get the issues above....

I didn’t know how to turn it off without the screen, so I went ahead and replaced it anyways. The manufacturer, the jerk, didn’t include the sticky tape, so I just did it without. At first, it worked fine, but later the screen popped out....
Chosen Solution Okay, here is the weird situation. I changed the screen of an iphone 8, everything works perfect, customer came back, he cannot edit or add contacts because the keyboard wont show, but on everything else keyboard pops up. Anyone know what this is? I suspect a software issue since keyboard is showing every where else. Try a hard reset first (See: How to force iPhone 8 to reboot) However I think you are correct, a software fault is the most likely cause of this and that would be fixed via an update/restore....

Chosen Solution I replaced my bloated battery & I’ve tried 2 new pressure sensors with adhesive. The adhesive is sticking to the watch but won’t stick to the back of the screen. Is there a trick to get it to stick? Or do I need another adhesive? It will stay on for a few hours & pop back up I dont like using super glue. I know it’s mostly not popular at all to use, but if you get a gorilla glue micro pen or some type of super glue with a controlled flow use just a tiny dot in the corners and one half way between each corner....
Chosen Solution When turned on the volume, and the whole thing is working fine. It’s also registering touch and everything, but the actual screen just isn’t showing anything at all. Did anything happen leading up to this? If it has been dropped or is thrown around, my best guess is that the display cable connecting the screen to the motherboad has been damaged or is disconnected. The good news is that this is a very easy repair (or at least very easily checked)....

Chosen Solution I am having an issue that has now showed up on both iPad Air and iPad Mini. After digitizer replacement - it seems the magnetic sensor are TOO sensitive. This means that when opening your smartcover - thereby pushing it to the back of the device - it now activates On/Off functionality. So far I have only seen this with Air and Mini but it’s getting more frequent. Any input here is appreciated....

Chosen Solution For as long as I’ve had my MacBook (about a year and a half), I’ve had issues with the key covers popping off the ‘A’ and ‘?/’ keys. Usually, I’ve been able to snap them back on (sometimes it takes repeated tapping). Now the ‘A’ key cover has fallen off again, and no manner of tapping has gotten it back on. Taking a closer look at it, part of the clear plastic that supports the key cover has snapped off....

Everything works electrically,just put a new battery in,still nothing,took the starter out and tested it,all is good,put the starter back in and still nothing. The car has been sitting for a few months and was getting started on a regular,then I decided to put it on ramps for exhaust work and all of a sudden it won’t turn. Check the ground is good....
Chosen Solution I have been refurbishing iPhone 8 screens recently. Got my first one spot on, no dust, bubbles or glue etc. Plugged it into an iPhone 8 and works perfectly. Continued to install the heat shield, home button and camera flex etc ready to be sold and then all of a sudden it started ghosting? I thought it could be shorting the board somewhere so I applied some sellotape to the heat shield where Apple has some adhesive, left it a while and came back to it....

All went well, and the ipad worked briefly, but the as the battery drained and is dead now – the ipad wont charge back up. I have a usb ammeter that shows 0.12 A while charger cable is plugged into ipad, and when I press the power button and the battery screen shows the amps jump to 0....
