Chosen Solution I looking to replace my iMac screen and wanted to ask about compatibility for 1418 2013 iMac. Mine had a LM215WF3 (SD D2) I’m told any series (D 1- D 5) are compatible is this true? The suppliers I use list only two panels LM215WF3 (SD)(D1) & LM215WF3 (SD)(D3) But! Thats not how I would buy it as you don’t want the raw panel! It’s always best to order the part by the Apple part number using either 661-7109 or 661-7513, the first being the newer version of the part....

Now I have substituted my old battery with a new one and I have the problem explained in the title. When I push the “power on” button, the S7 vibrates and a fixed blue LED + a blinking green LED show up for some seconds, then “menu” and “return” buttons light up and finally all lights disappear and the screen remains black....

Now it’ takes up the whole screen and won’t go away. I’ve tried the apple route - I’m out of warranty and they quoted me over 1300 pounds, not fair. Chosen Solution The screen has 3 ribbons that need to plug into the phone. The first one snapped in fine. The second plug would not snap in. I tried snapping the original screen and it snapped in with no problem. I was not able to install the new screen. Inspect the connector on the phone and on the screens. If the old one snaps in fine then it’s possible that the connector on the screen is damaged....

Chosen Solution I took my xbox apart to clean it, and now I am trying to put the long torx screws back into the metal casing but they won’t tighten. What happened and how do I fix it? The basic issue seems to be that the screw threads are stripped. I am not familiar with this unit, but if the screws are screwing into plastic, then you may be able to insert some plastic shavings into the holes to take up the space and provide new threads....

Chosen Solution Dear all I have a problem with using a sleep/wake button because it does not work. It has been worked as normal but one day this problem suddenly took place. Although I have replaced the flex cable but it does not help to fix this problem. I have not found any problems on the connector linking to this flex cable. Another weird issue related to this problem is that it tries to boot itself after I turn it off using the assistive touch....

Chosen Solution I recently did a screen swap on an SE and after I powered it back on it will not charge above 1%. I’ve done thousands of iPhone repairs but this was my first SE. I did a search on google and found numerous forums with people experiencing the same issue with an SE. Anyone else ever run into this or know of a repair? After the factory reset the ads stopped and everything seems to be working fine except the recent apps feature. Chosen Solution I replaced the touchscreen on my iPhone 6 about a month ago (actually, the whole front assembly) and it (the touchscreen) will be responsive when my device is open. But, whenever I put back the screws and cover plates and close the phone, the touchscreen is unresponsive. Chosen Solution Roland G800 no sound Hi If you aren’t getting any sound check all your MIDI ports for corrosion and debris as they are easily faulted If that doesn’t work I would open it up and check under all the keys and membranes for dust and corrosion/oxidation as they get quite dirty over a short ammount of time!
