Chosen Solution Does this model still have a reed switch ? Did they change it to something else ? I’ve been trying to identify the position or make it go to sleep with 2 small magnets but haven’t managed to consistently get it to work. Chosen Solution Yah so had a charging port panic full prs0 whatever you call it, i replaced the charging port, and nothing has changed, did i less up? Is it a bad part, is somthibg blocking the sensor? Please help, thabks guys (and gals) If the issue is the PRS0 sensor, that’s the pressure sensor (barometer). It has a pretty recognizable appearance on the charge port assembly. When I buy these, I generally make sure I get them from reputable vendors, or ones with a documented warranty or return policy....
Chosen Solution I have recently replaced both the screen and LCD on my iPad Mini 2, now the screen doesn’t work. I know the LCD is fine because, I have managed to get the apple sign to appear around 5 times but then it goes off again pretty much straight away.. I have tried hard rest, restoring the iPad, unplugging the battery for 10 minutes. Is there any thing else I could do or will the battery need replacing?...
Chosen Solution I replaced the glass like shown in the video. Now I have a small dead spot on the touch screen, near the middle on the left side. Is there a fix for this or did I do something wrong in the removel process. Everything else work prefect. I would try disconnecting, then re-connecting the digitizer (the glass that recieves touch input) I took apart my Evo about a week ago, and after putting it back together, I had a dead spot too....
Chosen Solution Replaced the screen on a friend’s daughter’s iPhone XS with a non-Apple product. Install went fine. Screen came up asking for passcode. They had forgotten the passcode ; trying to perform a factory reset in iTunes failed and leaves me with the iTunes error message 4013 and the phone screen on ‘support.apple.com/iphone/restore’. I then tried a third party software (imyfone), but that did nothing. Anybody see a way out of this for me?...
Chosen Solution I’ve just replaced my battery using the kit from iFixit. Everything seemed to go well according to coconutBattery , and I calibrated it per the instructions (full charge -> use it until it goes to sleep and wait -> full charge). For some reason, when I start using it, the battery discharges normally for some time, then drops suddenly to 7%. It will stay usable on 7% for quite a while, then it dies....
Chosen Solution Followed instructions for replacement—all appears to have gone well, except home button doesn’t click, Touch ID doesn’t work, and screen still sticks out pretty far from bezel compared to original screen. Is this typical for the IFixIt screen? Do I need to apply more force to get screen to seat properly? If I apply a lot of force to the bottom, near home button, the bottom of the screen shows a variety of colors, as though it’s knocking something internally Note that Touch ID doesn’t work either—I get the error message as soon as the phone boots up....
Chosen Solution I recently was working on my 3DS and ended up breaking off the white flap of the ribbon cable socket. Is there a way to fix this, it doesn’t seem like any plastic broke. The images below are pictures of the socket and flap. In image 1 it was partially connected, then in image 2 it completely came off. Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks :)...

Chosen Solution I brought a Samsung C32HG70 a few days ago ( no power and when it was had the vertical lines until warmed up issue). I’ve manager to sort the power problem and also the vertical lines, however the panel has horizontal lines across the whole screen anybody have any ideas on what it might be? Included couple of pics running the Xbox Series X on it today. Update (02/08/2021) I’ve had the back off the panel again and it seems to have a small 3mm split in one of the lvds that connects it on the lcd panel at the bottom, could this be causing the issue?...
Chosen Solution We just bought a new Samsung HD Smart TV? Took forever to hook up to our Xfinity Box. Yesterday lost stations on that TV. Xfinity said the box was bad and we had to get a new cable box. We are on the 2nd one today and can not get it to connect to the TV. Says no signal. HELP! It worked on another TV in the house but not this new TV....
Chosen Solution I have a doogee y100 plus, it fell several times before but it remained unharmed, until this time, it fell from my bed, and Immediately after I picked it up, I turned it on, and the right half of the screen was black, and on the other side (which still almost normal) there is some vertical semi-transparent white lines that looks related to icons (some only shows when I enable some functions such as bluetooth and wifi) , but it is still responsive, though i can’t see anything under the black part I can use it (I can use keyboard and can open apps even under the black) I tried to restart it and remove the battery but nothing changed, it even showed on the logo screen....
Chosen Solution TV says no signal on screen when connected to a working cable box probably, a loose cable OR, I had a problem similar to this, my satellite cable goes over the roof, and the weather had weathered it and it wouldn’t work. get a new cable or my grandparents had a similar cable to this as well, they just had a bad signal though, they had to get their satellite replaced as some water got into it....
Chosen Solution My 2ds xl turns on the top screen works but looks statice. The bottom screen is black but I see light to it and it responds to my touch. Open the casing and unhook both display cables then reset the cables ,connection could be faulty, could be back lighting .. use a led flashlight while the unit is turned on to light the screen if you can see your video on the screen your back light is out ....
Chosen Solution Im getting a message that my sd card has an error. How do I check my sd card Go into settings then storage. See if you can see the card and if there’s an option to repair it. Some sd cards aren’t compatible, especially the older slower ones.

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5s (A1533) that has the screen torn off at the flex cables. It has a battery and a home button. I can get the phone to boot into dfu mode but it doesn’t seem to boot into normal mode. At least if it does iTunes doesn’t see it nor does device manager.
