Chosen Solution I’ve read other answers but no luck so far. Replaced the battery, everything went smoothly. Now charging light stays orange. No response from the computer. When I do SMC reset, light goes green briefly when I let go of keys but then goes back to orange. Anything else I can try or did I just kill a perfectly functioning laptop? take off the battery and all peripherals then hold the power button for ten secs....

Chosen Solution Hello, I had a dead ipod that when plugged in gave the error message with the triangle to charge it. So I replaced the battery and it came to life for a few minutes and i was able to view all the songs on the ipod and even connect it to my laptop. Since then it died again and went to white screen that said do not disconnect. I tunes kept telling me to restore the ipod but I don’t want to lose my songs....

Chosen Solution I ordered and installed a replacement battery from iFixit and it seemed to be working fine for a while, however after running for a while the battery will not be recognized. When this happens, if I shut down and reset the SMC it will work again for a while but will later do the same thing resulting in needing another SMC reset. I’ve also reset the PRAM along with updating to the latest SMC firmware for my Mac model all to no avail....

Chosen Solution The exact model I am trying to restore is the iMac Intel 20"/2.1GHZ/1GB/250GB/SD/BT/AP - Model A1207 - EMC 2118 I have no disks, grey or otherwise that came with the machine. I assumed they were lost or never given to the current owners of the machine. They have a tendency to buy used models rather than new ones to save money (and yet here we are). I tore down the machine to inspect the hard drive, assuming it had failed and discovered it was a 2TB replacement....

Chosen Solution Our roomba is not picking up very well, we have done a detailed cleaning and it still will not pick well. @ermalsmith check the troubleshooting first:” If this is the case, remove the collection bin by pressing in the direction of the yellow arrows and empty. Also, the filter could be worn out or clogged up and cause the Roomba to loose suction. If this happens when the bin is empty, the sensors are dirty....

Chosen Solution I dropped a Samsung Galaxy s6 in a sink filled with water, and pulled it immediately. I didn’t even try powering it up, ordered a replacement battery and worked on disassembling it. The little Ifixit heating pad didn’t work at all; a careful application of my heat gun did the job easily. Replaced the battery and carefully cleaned all the internal connection points. Also unplugged all the internal connectors to the motherboard and cleaned everything with acetone....

Chosen Solution I am looking at buying this TV.There is a fairly large shifting white circle on upper edge of screen on menu and some streaming sources.Wondering if this can be fixed.I think it is edge lit so I am puzzled what this could be.Thanks for any advice. @zook5972 this could be a delaminated LED on your backlight strip. Those however usually show up behind the video and not in front off it, hard to tell on your images....

(It’s not even listed above, so i chose a different model.) I did buy the computer at Best Buy, and I’ve heard that they sometimes have different model numbers so they don’t have to price match....

Chosen Solution Hi there, I have a 19inch technika lcd tv (Model LCD19-907) that i got more than 7 years ago. It’s served me well. After a period of a few weeks of being turned off I plugged it back in again to set up as a secondary monitor for my pc set up. Now when I plug it in the LCD turns on for a second and then instantly cuts off to a blank screen a a small humming noise can be heard....

Chosen Solution My 2016 15” MacBook Pro’s screen flickers and then screen goes black. Does anyone found a solution for this. I’m told to replace the screen for 60INR by the service centre. The only way is to have it repaired, but it will cost over 700 USD and the technician might not even know what’s the problem. Therefore, I would recommend trade in your laptop for a 700 dollar for Apple gift card and upgrade to a new MacBook Pro with M1 Chip....

Chosen Solution I’ve taken apart my Sonicare toothbrush to fix a loose connection and see that the straight metal shaft has completely dislodged from the metal housing piece. It can be reinserted, but is not secure, and thus slips out. How can I ensure a tight fit before reassembling? I’m not sure if the original was one piece and mine is simply broken, or if some sort of glue bond has been compromised....

Chosen Solution I swapped the screen (lower resolution, glossy) on my Mid 2012 Unibody MacBook Pro with a screen from the 2011 model, which is the high resolution, anti-glare one. Everything works fine except the laptop no longer sleeps when I close the lid. I put the old screen back on and the functionality is working again so I assume it is something to do with the new screen. I was led to believe this swap would work, are the magnets not in the same place?...

Chosen Solution Hi there After dropping my phone the 1, 4 and 7 buttons don’t works so I can’t put in my password to unlock my phone. ☹️ Any sneaky tricks to fix this? Your going to have to get the screen replaced as the touch has gone bad.

Chosen Solution I have a 1.83GHz Core2Duo A1181 Macbook. I am wondering if it is possible to swap the logic board for a 2.4GHz model, and if it is not possible, what would be preventing it. I assume they use the same size and shape logic board considering they’re the same generation. Chosen Solution 3.5” HDD Thermal Sensor iMac 21.5-inch Late 2013 New TechTools has a sensor test. My Hard drive comes back with zero volts and says the test failed. Any Ideas if this is truly a problem? I’m not having problems. Running TTP 8 off of my main drive. TTP support had no answer. Apple Support had no answer other than take the iMac in for testing. I was just wondering if anyone had an answer before I lugged the iMac in for testing....

Chosen Solution So I have a 2007 Corolla. Sometimes when I start the car the AC won’t turn on. None of the speeds work. Then randomly while driving, it will kick in and work for a while. The first time it happened, it was only for a short time, and didn’t happen again for a while, but now the ‘outages’ are getting a little closer together. I don’t know if there seems to be a short in the wiring or something?...

Chosen Solution After trying the numerous different possible solutions I have found on the interwebs, I have not been able to solve this problem. After inserting a fully charged, known good battery into the camera, after hitting the power button all I seem to get is a flashing red light on the back of the camera. As mentioned, I have tried all the different hocus pocus solutions I have been able to find but to no avail....

Chosen Solution We have a 75in a couple weeks ago it was a black screen with sound I reset it by unplugging it for a few minutes which seemed to do the trick however I turned my tv off ran some errands came home and “tried” to turn the tv on and nothing happens my red power button blinks 19 times and I see a faint flash on the screen and might I add the tv is only a few months old....
