I didn’t know it wasn’t going into my power brick….but no crying over spilt milk. The adapter had a bit of an explosion, just a pop and a bit of smoke. My phone seemed fine, no immediate reaction. It lasts the rest of the day and I plug it in at night to the wall....

I got a replacement disc drive and installed, and it would not run at all or even allow a disc to be installed. Chosen Solution Blade attachment collar My saw no longer holds blades tightly. The “key” just keeps turning in the “collar”. The threads on either the key or inside the collar must be worn or damaged. Can I remove and replace the “collar” device? Removal instructions would be helpful. Chosen Solution Managed by on shatter the screen on my zte lever just looking for some help getting it apart i used a hair dryer and plastic pry bars I havent gotten around to making a teardown for this phone yet but there are two screws at the bottom of the phone under the plastic strip. remove those and then use your plastic pry bars to open it. I need to a new screen so I can change it

I researched possible solutions and she tried getting it unstuck with a paper clip, a toothpick, etc. It didn’t work. She took it to the Genius Bar where they told her it was permanently stuck and the repair would be $280. If it’s permanently stuck, the part needs to be replaced. Chosen Solution Hi! I have disassembled an iPhone 7 but when taking of the screen one of the two flex cables from the lcd screen got ripped. The cable that got ripped runs upwards under the LCD part, to the top. The LCD and touch still work. (fun to know that the LCD and Touch both go through one flex cable). But it disabled the home button from working. I am trying to understand how the part that I broke runs underneath the hood and what I can do to solve it....
Chosen Solution S6 that was dead, battery reset didn’t work and didn’t connect to computer, Green LED tho. Waited until the green led turned red, plugged it in a computer and got the battery display, no charge tho. Plugged/unplugged about 5 times rapidly and got it started charging. Did a factory reset and had it working for about 1 day. Plugged it in to a charger with about 80% battery while i was browsing....
Chosen Solution Hi guys, basically the title says it all: I have a iMac G5 20" (2Ghz, 500GB, 512MB) which is working fine except for the screen being black. I know the backlight is working (and responding to dimming), so according to the apple guide (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2094) it should be the LCD, but even with a replacement screen the display remains black. What I’ve done so far: attached external screen - working tried another internal screen replaced display connecor cable checked capacitors - looking ok I’ve run out of options to eliminate… Anyone got an idea?...

My Fairhphone met some oil in my bag unfortunately, so I tried to open it and clean it, but unfortunately one of the screws is not coming loose, and I’m afraid I’ve tried it so many times that the screwhead doesn’t fit in right anymore. There are tools for stripped screws in the store : Precision Screw Extractor Set I’ve read about other solutions, like trying to glue your screwdriver to the screw before attempting to take it out, or drilling the screw out, while doing your best not to damage everything… Haven’t tried any of these, but yeah, stripped screws are a pain to deal with....

Chosen Solution The audio works and the picture is ok but its still decently jumbled. I’m using a RetroVersal Universal AC Adapter and its fresh out the box. I don’t know if it’s the console or not. Any answer might be helpful. Are you using an HDTV, if so that might be the issue as av does not work to good on HDTV’s, I know this because of my SNES, NES, and Genesis that break up badly without a converter box....

Looking to get a high quality SSD (for durability) and general performance improvements. (use windows thru Parallels). I have some good news and some bad here. First I would recommend you stick with the Samsung 850 EVO Vs the Pro version. You’ll be just fine with the cheaper drive....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have no display at all on my daughters iPhone 7. I have put a multimeter on the pins on the FPC connector for the display and 7 or 8 are beeping in continuity mode. Now I’m trying to learn electronics at the moment and I’m pretty sure there should be no beeping when I put the multimeter on the connector pins. I cannot read schematics yet but I did have a look and it’s part J4502 and assuming I’m reading the numbers of the pins the right way up I’m pretty sure it’s pins-1,5,7,13,15 and 17 on one side and just pin number 20 (LCM TO MANY BSYNC CONN) on the other side....

I tried blowing the spray stuff in there with no luck. Is there a way I can pull it apart and pull the ant off the screen myself? I dunno if you need new parts.
