Chosen Solution Recently my analog Minolta HI-Matic AF2 camera won’t let me shoot pictures. It happened once before randomly, then seemed to have resolved itself, but now it happened again and it didn’t fix itself this time around.The batteries are new (changed them to new ones again, in case the others were faulty). It happens seemingly at random and until recently it was only an issue of a couple minutes until it worked normally again....

Chosen Solution Found this car on Copart and it instantly caught my attention. It’s a 1981 Porsche 924. Porsche is one of my favorite brands, so I instantly clicked on it. It looks like it needs a front bumper, a (VERY) good paint job and some cosmetic things. Best part is that its only $400- but its $714 to flatbed it to my house. Worth it? Chosen Solution Hi, Is there any software available for the PC, free or paid, which will try to restore an iPhone, while giving step by step details on the restore process so if it fails, you can see what it was trying to do when it failed and therefore have a good idea of the problem area? For instance, your iPhone might be stuck in recovery mode. You try a restore in iTunes....

Chosen Solution Hello my PS1 LCD screen has been turning purple until removing the screen and putting it back on to the PlayStation here lately and I’m not quite sure why? @squanchfu it’s getting up there in age and may show signs of some corrosion, failing caps or degradation of the solder connections. I suggest you start with a new pair of AV cables and try that. If that will not work, time to open it up and have a good look around to see if there is any obvious damage....

Chosen Solution Will my headphones work with any audio cord that is 2.5mm? I don’t think so. The spacing of the connectors on the plug seem to vary. I got an Apple specific cable and had no problem listening to my Mac. But I tried both cables on an American Airlines flight and neither worked. Chosen Solution So, i recently replaced a digitizer not from ifixit. and it worked for a few seconds but stopped working completley after a few good seconds home button was not working too. i opened up the mini again and inspected it. No issuses whatsoever and put it back on. digitizer and home button is not working at all. should i sell it for parts? Did you have the same issue before replacing the digitizer?...

Chosen Solution Recently started getting “Check TEL Line” on the phone screens. Tried unplugging, resetting the modem, etc. Still shows up and no dial tone. Sounds like an open line though. Try plugging the phones into a different line, if the issue persists, try an entire different phone, like a cheap one or maybe a really old phone if you still have one. If nothing changes, call your service provider and see if they can come out and figure out your issue....

Chosen Solution HI, the pen doesn’t print. When connected to PC it can be configured, the communication is OK, but there is no print even the cartridge as well as battery are OK. Any idea how to fix? The problem could be in the cartridgein the cartridge holder (contacts)in the electronic board All of them shall be repairable, I’ve repaired 10+ pieces....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro 13, 2017 would not charge but would power up while plugged in. I replaced the battery but I’m still having the same issue. Before replacing the battery it would do nothing unless it was plugged in. Now I can get it to show low battery screen if its not plugged in. Also the battery emblem at the top now shows an X inside it before I login....

Chosen Solution I removed the battery from my right joycon, and after reinstalling it the lights on the side of the joycon would not light up. The joycon would only work when connected to the switch. Not entirely sure what this might be but some things to check would be to make sure all cables are plugged in and undamaged and if there’s a positive and negative side of the battery to make sure they’re the right way around....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’ve recently replaced the screen of a Asus Zenpad Z580CA. Haven’t glued the screen on yet, just connected all the cables and booted it to see if it works. No issues with the screen itself, everything looks fine. But I have no response to touch. Anywhere i press there is no response, it’s not a few dead zones, the whole screen isn’t working. Should I replace the screen again or could it be that something is badly connected?...

Chosen Solution I am trying to help out a friend who apparently is in the dark regarding Time Machine. She has a 2016 MacBook Retina from 2016. Model A1534 EMC 2991. When booting it goes to the flashing folder with a question mark. Booting into recovery, the system does not see the local storage. Target mode is also unsuccessful. My guess is that the logic board has failed. If that is true, can the data be retrieved from the storage chip(s) on the logic board?...

Chosen Solution Tv makes clicking noise, will not turn on and has no standby light. I checked all the capacitors and visually they all look fine. I also checked the voltage on the pins and they are all correct but the values changes when the clicking occurs. I tool the power board off and wonder if it looks normal. It looks like it may be rusting or leaking on one of the pieces and i dont know if this is the problem....

Chosen Solution Hi Have an samsung UE65JS9500 curved TV. Yesterday no screen anymore. Standby light is on and very soft ticking from inside the case. Openend the case and thicking comes from powerboard BN44-00818A. Removed the powerboard. thicking also occure when powerboard is taken from the tv and on external power with no ribboncables attached It is a very calm, difficult to hear steady thicking. It comes from the area with the red circle....

I came to the fact that light is on when power cable is connected to power source. When cable is off, light is off. Chosen Solution Hello from Russia! Can u tell me what the difference between 821-1492-01 and 821-1492-A? I got MBP 15 Mid 2012 and i tried to install 3 different SSD, and they all not recognized. All firmwares updated to the last version. Guys from iFixit forum tells me that i need to change this Sata cable because its old, and i need to find “01” version. I can buy only from ebay and aliexpress, where all customers only got “A” version and dont know is it support sata 3 or no… Plz help me to figure it out…...

Chosen Solution When I move the Screen up and down the brightness goes down for no reason, even with small move the brightness goes down, and sometimes it goes off it becomes all black like it’s closed even when it’s open. I think it’s a hardware problem i’m sure of that, cause the problem happens when I move the cover with just a slight move, it goes black and I had to move it again back and forth to get its brightness back...

Chosen Solution In 2012, my Macbook was fall from the closet around 1 meters high. Everything was fine. The laptop keep running although I hear some crack in DVD player. And get small dent in the corner of screen but overall works fine. In 2016, I was stupid cleaning the screen with alcohol 70%. Back then I did not know that the alcohol is abrasive for lcd screen. The ant come into the back of the glass and crawling there....
