Chosen Solution Late 2009 imac Intel EMC 2308 replaced Western D hard drive (500GB) with 1TB Crucial SSD. I just bought the kit and followed directions for the HDD to SSD replacement. When I booted up with the new drive I did the hold option key and booted from a USB. From the start the display looked weird. Sort of pixelated and missing stuff, and whited out. I thought it might be a missing driver … so went ahead with the install....

Chosen Solution Normally I unlock these by trying my current AT&T SIM (it used to work), but since the Device Unlock app and relies on the device it historically has not - why not admit you just hate having to unlock phones already, AT&T? The issue now is I ported my number to T-Mobile, so that option is done. This mess is making these phones waste so far. At one point, I got a Moto G7 Play (purchased used) which is SIM locked to AT&T I got as a backup phone, before switching....

Chosen Solution Top load washer will randomly start making load knocking noise during middle of spin cycle as if the clothes were not balanced. Sounds like a counter balance spring (least that is where I would start). Luckily Kenmore/whirlpool are pretty easy to pop open if it is an older model. Pop the shell off and take a look at the bottom back end of the tub see if the spring is broke/not connected....

Chosen Solution Having the same issue with my MacBook Pro retina 15" mid 2015 Turns off randomly - was brand new, from the box, on El Capitan which comes from the factory, downgraded to Yosemite and my MacBook Pro never had any issue again. only problem - have to use the Magic Mouse first edition, MM2 not compatible, which is annoying but less than the power issue hope someone will find it useful, happy macbooking...

You don’t give the exact year model or the engine type but I’m assuming that the rear door handle removal procedure is the same for all 2005-2008 Kia Sportage, all engine types....

After a full charge +2h on charger (as advised)i start using MBP (did setup, installing software and cetra) Initially percentage and current charge Watts shown as normal, they decreasing as usually for such level of load on MBP.. as soon as battery reaches its 75% percent (+- half percent measured with coconut battery, istat menu and macos internal power app) percentage dropped top 7%....

Chosen Solution I want to replace my Shimano FH-5501 freehub, but apparently Shimano don’t make it anymore. Can anyone recommend a replacement that would be compatible? There are two ways to do this. You can buy a used part - they are available and not that expensive (and not super hard to service if you have the right lubes and tools.) You can also buy a brand new freehub. As long as you buy a Shimano freehub that is rated for 9 speed (which should be most of them) you should be good to go....

Chosen Solution I am installing a backup camera and new radio in my 2006 Toyota Corolla. I have everything wired except for the reverse / backup light wire. I have found the wiring harnesses to the left of the clutch. Can you help me identify the correct harness and wire for the reverse /backup light? @syb tapping into the wiring harness sounds to complicated and cumbersome. Go for either the backup light switch, a junction connector or even the fuse box....

Chosen Solution I bought this Samsung 55 inch 5 years ago and suddenly the display had couple of stripes, like burnt LEDs. Then one night the display started acting weird and the whole display was covered with stripes and this purplish dark stuff. Then I shut the tv off and let it be for awhile. Later I turned on the tv and it was normal. Weird. The ‘burnt LEDs’ were still there but the main stuff was gone....

Chosen Solution Hello. I changed the screen of a macbook and I realized that when I open and close the screen quickly (normaly, like if it’s the first time you open your mac), there are no problems. But if I move it gently to reposition the screen higher or lower and therefore go more slowly when I move it, it makes a little creak when I start to move it. Chosen Solution I purchased my SEIKI SC55UK700N new from Walmart. 91 days later.. literally 1 day after the return policy expired (I thought I purchased the warranty), I turned the TV on and it made a popping noise and the screen turned off. The TV is plugged in and no longer has a red “on” light like it used too. Any suggestions? Is this fixable? I contacted the company and they told me to ship it to them at my expense....

Chosen Solution I recently changed my mother in laws battery on her 2015 MacBook Pro. I followed the directions as instructed and all was going well. Followed the battery calibration steps as well. After this she used the laptop for a short while and the screen went black. I diagnosed and searched online for hours and so far I’ve done the following: reset the SMC 4 times did a traditional reboot unplugged the battery 3 times and tried that and still didn’t work....

Chosen Solution Laptop was working fine last night - booted it up this morning to find a Pink vertical line running down the middle of the screen. This line even appears during boot-up at the Apple logo. No amount of SMC, PRAM, NVRAM or settings changes the behavior. defective LCD. Sorry to say but its going to have to get replaced. If its under MFW or apple care it would get taken care of....
