Chosen Solution Having problems with the bottom thread; on the top a straight stitch, on the bottom a rather loose “S”-shape bobbin thread. Tried all kinds of upper- and bobbin-tension settings, needles, threads. Hook seems to be on time; no “pick-up” issues. The feed-dogs seem on time. Top-tensioner seems to work fine too. Have 2x metal bobbin holders, tried with different bobbins (metal & plastic), tried all kinds of tensions; same result....

Chosen Solution Need to replace the sound card for the x555LA. Which sound card is compatible and has the integrated USB port and 3.5 jack? The small board is called an X555LD Board and also controls the hard drive. The Realtek sound Chip is also on this board and has died. You will need to order a new one. Price on eBay is $30-$65 for the board but if you know how to use a hot air soldering iron then the actual Realtek Chips and only a few dollars and you can do it yourself for much less....

Chosen Solution My galaxy S 7 edge screen is half black half rainbow colors, plus flickering. Already try to reset it with the volume buttons and power, home buttons but as i can not see whats on my screen. I wonder if i can do a reset to the phone from my PC connected through the USB cable? Chosen Solution Some background info: I have a Lenovo Y50, I believe it’s the y50-70 variant, but I’m not 100% sure. It’s a 15.6inch with an i7, 16gb ram, sata drive, and an Nvidia 860m with 4gb of graphics. It was purchased in September of 2014, so it’s a fairly early model of the y50. it’s a bit beat up, but hasn’t had any major functional issues to this point. Now to the actual problem: When I boot the laptop, the keyboard backlight and status lights on the front all come on like normal, but the screen stays black (not just a black image being displayed, the screen is off)....

Chosen Solution Sharp flat screen power light continues to flash. I attempted to hard reset with Input and Vol -, and the set comes on for just one second and displays channel 2 analog and shuts off again @surplum try a different video input source and see if it stays on. You need to let us know what exact model this is and what else you have tried. Let us know if there is a pattern to the blinking....

Chosen Solution After ten minutes of use the lamps shut off and the fans start running at full power. There is not too much dust inside and the lamps seem fine when it runs. When it crashes the red lamp light starts flashing. Any help will be welcome. Show a picture of what the lights are i will help me know what light it is and might be able to tell you how to fix it

Chosen Solution Got the digitizer off and the back off. I need to remove the mobo for cleaning. I found and removed four screws and the camera but I cannot get the motherboard out. It feels like there’s another screw or perhaps some adhesive but I’m already putting more pressure on the mobo than I’m comfortable with and it’s not budging at all. The top-right side (as seen in the pic below) lifts up off the frame about a centimeter, but the top-left side lifts barely a millimeter....

Chosen Solution I’m having problems putting the mud flaps on my 2010 Wrangler. Any help on how to do it? The flaps didn’t come with any instructions, so that’s made it even harder. MacBook Pro 15” - Mid 2014 That is a very difficult part to find, I know from experience. Finally had one come up on eBay after three weeks. You might do better trying to repair the one you have. It is a necessary part to make the trackpad work properly....

Chosen Solution So, after I installed a new battery and display with parts from iFixit, charged the phone, (touch screen appeared to be working great), completed restore from iTunes backup- –restored worked, iOS and apps updates worked, phone felt a bit warm – then self shut down to the white apple screen and rebooted on its own. Now does that every two minutes. Can’t use. Tried hard reset. No effect. My iPhone had a cracked corner from a not-so-hard drop from the table....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I have the iPhone XS MAX and while I was cleaning one of the left side speaker grills/vents I noticed that the mesh was pushed in quite a bit. I am wondering if it is worth me opening up the device and replacing the mesh? I have some experience opening up late model iPhones such as the 11. I would replace the waterproof adhesive around the screen but which would reduce the waterproofing more, opening up the device or leaving the speaker grill as is?...

Chosen Solution Lost my phone on the floor. Ever since, the rear camera is out of focus when activated. When I give the phone a little knock on the side, the focus starts to work. Is this something that can be fixed without replacing the camera? This can be a common fault with Samasung Galaxy phones, either the camera will jitter back and forth and fail to focus or the device will display an error and refuse to start the camera app....

Chosen Solution Sony 23 inch Red light is blinking but remote not working tv inbuilt buttons also not working what should i do plzz help me When you first tried to turn on the TV, I am assuming that the red light was solid which means that it was in standby mode. Turning on the set then ends up showing a flashing red light and no other action. Hopefully the flashing has a repeating pattern of a fixed number of flashes....

Chosen Solution Mark, I am hoping you found a better solution than scrapping it. I have an LG 65EG9600 Curved OLED TV and have loved it till I had similar problems. Remote control only on and off and half would be have flashing greyed overlay on exactly 1/2 of the screen. See video attached. @stevegowdy excellent to add images right from the beginning. Those errors are caused by errors on the LCD driver board....

Chosen Solution Can you remove apps? That you do not want too make your battery last longer? To uninstall apps that you installed, go to the menu, then to settings, then applications, then manage applications, then tap the app you want to remove, next a screen will pop up with the option to uninstall.
