This is not a difficult repair but it does have complicating factors because it is done directly on the HB flex. So make sure to ask the tech if they have done this before....

I’m guessing you mean you took the RAM out and cleaned the slots. Not sure why that would be necessary but anyway. I would check to make sure your SO-DIMM(S) are pushed in all the way.
Chosen Solution I recently replaced the battery in my MBP retina mid2014, everything went fine but I must have killed my display in some sort. The image on the display is completely distorted and unusable, but the laptop works perfectly fine with external displays. I just replaced the LVDS cable of the device in the hopes of getting it fixed that way but the problem persists. LVDS connector on the logic board broken?...

Chosen Solution I have the opposite issue from a lot of people where their sharpeners won’t run. Ours runs constantly, whether there’s a pencil in it or not! To make it stop, we have to open the shavings drawer to release the switch that keeps the sharpener from operating when it’s not there. I’ve tapped the sharpener vigorously and blown any shavings and debris out - everything I could see from outside the sharpener, down the bore hole and from what’s accessible when the shavings drawer is removed, but it still runs continuously whenever connected to the wall plug....
Chosen Solution Dropped Galaxy S5 Active into bathtub in a shower, got a new battery, it’s battery life is still fairly poor, everything works, but it charges slow and it dies quickly. Check and make sure you don’t have alot of apps running in the background first to rule out that as the problem. If not look at your battery it may be wearing out.
Chosen Solution I recently purchased a XS Max for $350, and after transferring from my old Sony XZ Premium, I have noticed a huge downgrade in camera quality on the selfie camera. It has much better dynamic range, but the camera seems very blurry and much too smooth when in snapchat. But my biggest issue is how zoomed in it is. On my old phone, I could take a picture from around a foot away and it would crop in my whole shoulders, whilst on this one a photo taken on the front camera will barely show my entire face....

Chosen Solution My 4s just been used for one year, never been dropped. One day, it just stopped to connect to any wifi. Under the setting wifi, it is completely greyed off. Apple tech said the chip to connect the wifi is broken. This phone cannot connect to any wifi now. I have tried switch off and on and still not help. Any expert has idea how to fix that? Chosen Solution My phone soft-bricked two days back after it showed an error while updating its System and I got it repaired later. Now again I’m getting an system update notification. Should I accept the update or never update my phone! Because I don’t want to risk another brick again. Charge the phone first and try the system update again. Shouldn’t brick this time. Chosen Solution During a load of wash the alarm began to sound. It was a heavy load! This is the first time its happened. I opened the pump trap, found a clog there along with the drum drain hose. Chosen Solution I accidentally stripped the T6 Torx hinge screws on my early 2009 15" MacBook Pro. Is there an easy way to get them out? I’d like to avoid taking it to a professional. They aren’t completely stripped – that is, the holes aren’t pure circles yet – but they don’t hold the Torx screwdriver. Would a precision screw extractor work? Incidentally, is it possible to buy these sorts of screws at a hardware store?...
