Chosen Solution My iMac came with 8GB (2 x 4GB memory modules) installed. I would like to increase the Mac’s memory, by installing two more modules into the unused sockets. Can I just add an additional 2 x 8GB modules to raise it up to 24GB, or will there be an imbalance with a mixture of 4 GB and 8 GB modules installed. I vaguely remember similar problems being caused on early Windows PCs....
Chosen Solution Hello. Today I have changed the housing of my Iphone6, because the old one was very damaged. Everything went well till I have tried to charge it after it died. Now it shows me that is charging when i connect it, but it doesn’t charge. Any idea of what might happen ? Check if you didn’t knocked any chips on the motherboard. Also check if you didn’t damage the charging flex, since it can be easily teared due to the hard adhesive....

Chosen Solution I have an interesting repair, it’s an iPhone 11 that reboots every 2-3 minutes. I replaced the charging port and it still does it. Upon just loosely connecting the old port it works fine, is there a part like the Taptic Engine, lower speaker etc that could be shorting it out? I’ll attach a picture of how I’ve got it working right now. If I install it, it’ll go back to rebooting....

I believe the voltage at the light bulb socket is supposed to be a stabilized 82 volts. I am getting 90-91 volts at the socket. I’m unable to get support from Apple, since I don’t have the original purchase receipt, and my research has shown me that if I replace the firmware bios chip on the logic board (with a new serial number) the problem will go away forever. Before I do that repair I have some questions that hopefully more knowledgable folks like you might confirm, answer, or clarify before I make some purchases and execute the repair....
Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Air 13’“ mid 2011 and it would sometimes charge and other times not charge. The condition grew worse and worse until the MacBook wouldn’t turn on at all. I figured that this particular MacBook only worked off of battery and somehow, if the battery went bad that the ac adapter had to go “through” the battery to the power supply. The times it WOULDN’T charge, the magnet charger would be GREEN....
Chosen Solution I’ve owned my iPhone 7 Plus for about 2 years now, as all iPhones the battery has all of a sudden started to discharge very quickly and the charging port would only work with one charger in one direction. I purchased a replacement battery and charging port and replaced them both. I have replaced batteries and ports in iPhones since the iPhone 4, but the 7 Plus was by far the hardest I’ve done....
