Chosen Solution I’ve held the home & power buttons down for the 10 seconds recommended, then when boots up there’s a rectangular line surrounding the “slide to unlock”. When it DOES allow the passcode page to appear (won’t always do or takes a lot of time), there’s also the same skinny rectangle going from screen edge to edge surrounding the passcode icons that always fill in as passcode is entered; those icons do not “fill in” when passcode is attempted & the # entered is slow to respond or won’t respond at all....

Chosen Solution I have a HP Pavilion g6-2298sa Notebook PC which I’ve had since 2012 and upgraded the HD to an 512gb SSD in December. Today upon switching on the screen is blank, the caps lock light flashing and the f12 button a continuous light. I have used resources such as https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c0… but my caps lock seems to be doing 3 flashes then a pause which isn’t listed. I have still tried some of these solutions just in case, such as removing power cord and battery and pressing the power button then turning on once replacing battery and power cord....
Chosen Solution Hey, I had to replace the volume flex cable, after that I check my phone if it works and connected the battery and powered it on. Works, good. Then I disconnected the battery to put the screws for the screen protection plate (the thing that protects the screen connectors on the logic board), reconnected the battery an now it doesn’t show anything. I connected the phone to my computer and iTunes says it found a phone in recovery mode and I have to restore it to use it with iTunes....

Chosen Solution Since open the screen damaged the original adhesive, just replacing it can keep the original water resistant capability? To keep your warranty in place, I would have this done by Apple. In year or so techs will have some repair experience and be better able to answer your question.
Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on an iPhone 5 - everything went well. After charging it for some time it became warm (as I believe they normally do) but for 20-30 min after that the screen was very sensitive opening apps by itself and a slight hover of my finger would set it off click/ opening random things. It went away when I assume the phone got to room temperature again....

Any suggestions? I looked at a few other forums and followed the recommendation to clean out the potentiometer. Apparently grease eventually gets down into it. The potentiometer is in the main body at the end of the steering column, near the motherboard....
Chosen Solution I just finished a 5k and I think I was suffering oxygen deprivation because I accidentally deleted my run off my watch!!!! Is there anyway to retrieve this???? If you plug it in to a computer and navigate to the drive using Windows Explorer or Finder, you will see a Garmin folder....
