Chosen Solution I bought a broken iPhone XS Max which has a smashed back and a screen that has a working display but wouldn’t respond to touch. Also, the screen had what looked like a small“dead pixel” from the impact, visible when powered on. It appears that the impact happened to the back since the display is not cracked. I replaced the screen/digitizer with a brand new one from Ebay but it still doesn’t respond....
Chosen Solution So, the screen seems fine before I reassemble the phone. After a little jiggery pockery it seems that as soon as I clip the board into all of the location holes the screen fades and to black then the backlight goes out! Is is a after market screen you have to cover the little circuit next to LCD connection with tape or the original protection sometimes it touches ground causing shorts....

It looks like that: move 20-30cm stop and go back about 3cm, turn 90st. and repeat. Sometimes work good for 1 minute and then again fail to this state. I try test mod and all sensors look fine, motors are OK too....

Chosen Solution SIM tray won’t go in all the way Most likely there is something inside the port blocking it from going in, shine a flashlight down it and see if you can find anything inside of the port that would cause a issue.

This was probably resolved, but to prevent future heart break.. I am pretty sure they are different. I suspect the problem may be in some capacitor as the problem is intermitent but recurring. simple screw driver dismantling left me short of the pcb. Where can I find instructions to access the pcb? But i replaced the module on the board and when i connect my controller to my pc with game controller tester the analog stick is pressed 100% to the right.. Chosen Solution Hi, I had just installed the ifixit battery replacement for my MBP 11,2 but the battery indicator on the menu bar says Battery not detected. I had cleared both SMC and PRAM several times over and over but nothing has changed. I even tried reinstalling the old battery and this time it also was not detected, whereas before this computer died on me some 5 months back, the battery indicator still read out the battery capacity (which was already showing how rapidly it would fully charge and discharge and shutdown somewhere around 70%)....
