Chosen Solution My iPhone XR has been experiencing issues recently, I got it second hand with a screen replacement already previously done. It has acted fine for upwards of a year but is now occasionally glitching out as sections fade , sometimes pixels are in a vertical line across the middle of the screen. After these glitches the display is still on, hence a black backlit glow, but nothing is displayed....
Chosen Solution I tried the monitor with different computers, with different cables. Always the same problem. The screen turns on, on off switch still works, buttons still works, sound still works.BUT when I plug it in or activate it, it turns on for 2-3 seconds with a pinkish tint and turns black. The on-off button is still “white” (indicating it’s on, orange means asleep). After replugging everything I just noticed that the image works....
Chosen Solution Hello. I have iPhone 6 not turning on after screen replacement and iTunes doesen’t recognize it. Not heating at all. There are pry damage on the screw hole (middle one) - whole BS2503 is off the board and you can see the copper there. Also it seems that the backlight filter FL2024 is kind slightly burnt. Also there seems to be long screw damage on the two bottom screw (there are copper) but before I take those off and check under those screw holes....
Chosen Solution My Sega Genesis 2 second controller port is not working at all, I’ve tried desoldering and soldering the port a couple times. I’ve also reflowed everything on the back of the board and checked continuity from where the controller plugs in to the resisters just in front of where the pins solder to the motherboard. The weird part is in sonic 2 and 3 it actually does kinda work but then gets stuck going left....

All that I can see wrong inside the phone is that the small flex connector at the bottom of the shield, that takes the home button flex - is totally ruined. 2 previously functioning screens are not firing up on this device. Would this broken shield connector stop the screen working all together?...
Chosen Solution Hello! I’ve got a few ’new’ SNES games from a friend to hit time dead for a while. Sadly, one of the games didn’t work. It showed a black Screen instead. I had the same problem with Hebeke’s Popoitto, but this game destroyed my Reset-Button for Whatever reason.. I keep the port (or the console in general) very clean, and the same goes with the games. The games work fine on my friend’s SNES....

Sometimes it boots fine but I’ll get lots of small green squares after I open a 3D app or a game and it will freeze (mouse is moving) having to reboot it. I can always boot to safe-mode. Chosen Solution My combi fridge-freezer had a flickering light in the fridge so I replaced the bulb only for the flicker to remain, after “jiggling” the door switch to see if it was the cause of the flickering that seemed to be the case. I pulled out the switch and unplugged the connections - with the power off obviously - and then opened and inspected the switch while searching online for a replacement....
Chosen Solution I tried repairing my camera (Sony DSC-HX50) lense and severed a ribbon cable. Is there a way to find a replacement or do i need to buy a completely new lense? I was actually really carefull but it is one of those ribbon cables that you have to pull out with force and I used a toothpick to release the pressure on the contact. Once it got out it seems to have been ripped out the other side....

Chosen Solution Hello. For a while I’ve had issues with the day time running lights and hazard/signal lights not working properly. When the car warmed up internally I had better performance (the relay was warming up? It’s down by the brake pedal). The day time running lights would work once warmed up as well and the signal lights would work more consistently, not always. The high beam does not seem to be connected to this so I used high beam until the car warmed up for the day time lights....

Chosen Solution Will an iPhone 5 screen and home/touch button fit an iPhone 8? The iPhone 8 has a bigger screen than the iPhone 5, so, no, it will not work. The home button on the iPhone 8 is also paired to the iPhone, so you will not be able to use the iPhone 5 home button on the iPhone 8.
