Chosen Solution The tv dosnt respond to the remote control, it boots up to the smart samsung screen then reboots and just keeps doing this , If I unplug the wire in the pic numbered 14 that links the 2 pcbs the screen will stay lit but no image on screen so I guess the screen is ok and leds are ok , any ideas would be great fully appreciated Update (07/29/2020)...
Chosen Solution Hi I have a Samsung ue40d5520 TV. I was messing with the Service menu by pressing INFO - Menu - MUTE - Power. Then if was saying Wait. I can only assume it was doing something to the software installed on the TV. This Wait message was staying for too long for my liking and I decided to unplug the TV. When I plugged it back in the TV would not power up at all....

Chosen Solution How do I fix the side button panel on my LG LCD? The button panel has been depressed to heavily and gotten stuck back or off track. Can I take the panel off and fix it? Or does it have to be replaced? Without seeing the damage, it will be difficult to state for sure, but sometimes, the plastic button “plate” just comes off of its supports. Sometimes the plastic posts that hold it in place break....
Chosen Solution So, I was restoring an iPhone 7 Plus. I replaced the Chassis, LCD and Battery. I transferred literally everything over from the old chassis to the new one, same with the LCD. I come to power on the device and I’m hit with a bootloop. After about 5 minutes of boot looping, it turns on BUT it says Searching at the top and my battery is showing 1% (on the new and old battery, I’ve tested both)....
Chosen Solution I followed this iFixit guide to replace the HD with a Samsung 850 EVO SSD (using a NewerTech AdaptaDrive bracket): iMac Intel 27" EMC 2309 and 2374 Hard Drive Replacement While the guide says to disconnect all the display cables and lift off the display before replacing the drive, I only had to pull out the vertical sync cable, which gave enough space to remove/replace the drive while propping the display at about 45 degrees....
Chosen Solution Water was spilled on my 2009 MacBook Pro (aluminum body). What I’m trying to do is use my 2007 MacBook remove the hard drive from that & pop the 09 hard drive in it and try and save all my data to an external hard drive . If it reads and works with the 09’s hard drive in and is savable I will go ahead and purchase a (SATA Hard Drive Enclosure for the MacBook and MacBook Pro) and use as an external drive....

Chosen Solution I have r&r’d the screen several times but it doesn’t snap in nicely along the top edge. what am I doing wrong? It’s not meant to snap in on the top edge. Insert the top edge into the frame first, then lower the screen whilst holding it against the top of the frame. Like Philip said, and make sure the frame is not bent or dented at the corner, thus preventing the screen from sitting properly....

I am not sure if the power switch needs replacing or cleaning. Can anyone help? I took the right cover off and sprayed contact cleaner in the switch and cycled it a few times, put back together and it has been working for the past couple of weeks....

I replaced the battery with a new one and replaced my cracked screen as well. Everything seemed to be working until I went to take a picture. The app opens for half a second and then closes again. Chosen Solution Replaced HDD with SSD and now fan is going crazy, I did attach the temp sensor to it to that bought from here on iFixit. Haven’t put the lcd back on all the way because of this. Can someone help? Your systems SMC is looking for the thermal sensors within the display assembly which is why your system fan is running hard and your CPU is down clocked as well to protect it from overheating....
Chosen Solution I ripped the cable for the copper tape when transferring to a new screen. Ordered front camera and proximity assembly, plus the new copper shield piece. Question is, how do I attach the copper shield cable to the new camera/proximity cable? Don’t worry about it. The copper tape is there for EMI shielding, and you probably won’t notice a practical difference without it. In the future, keep the tape attached to the shield and transfer it as one piece....
Chosen Solution With Apple switching back to the keyboard mechanism used in the 2015 Macbook Pro’s, I figured it might again be possible to replace the keyboard without replacing the entire top case. I have a Macbook Pro 16” with a defective arrow key, and sourced a new keyboard on Aliexpress for $30. I took it apart, carefully removed the keyboard backlight (there’s a flex cable covering the ESC key area that needs to be disconnected first) and removed all visible screws - 20 or so....
