Chosen Solution I have recently bought a second-hand iPhone SE in decent condition and while the rear camera lens cover is not scratched, it is slightly crooked. To remove it, am I better off removing the white glass panel surrounding the camera and getting in via the back, or by unscrewing and opening up the phone from the front and pushing the lens through? There’s some dust visible in there too, so my suspicion is it’s been (incompetently) replaced before....

Chosen Solution This Thunderbolt Display was having intermittent issues with “glitchy” or “scattered” graphics when connected to a Thunderbolt Port. However, when connected to a Mac using the peripheral Thunderbolt port, everything worked fine. Tested and concluded that the problem was A1407 (Thunderbolt Cable with Magsafe Cable Connector). Replaced that pair of cables, and now the display will power on (i.e. fan runs) for about 13 seconds, and then powers off....
Chosen Solution do i have to charge a replacement battery? In most cases replacement batteries have around 40% charge or possibly lower depending on how long and the environment it is stored in. So normally it should not need to be charged immediately to power on the device. If you have received a battery that has had a longer shelf life it may need charged. If it has sat for a long period of time before you received it than it may read at zero volts with a multimeter....

Chosen Solution I am trying to replace a motherboard ribbon connector as circled in the image on a amazon fire 10 where the flex ribbon cable slides into that the previous owner messed up. Is there a way to determine the number of contacts and pitch of the plastic connector or an easy way to determine the exact replacement connector I need to buy? Don’t know if it helps at all but on the flex cable itself there is a number 1 written on one corner and number 51 written on the other corner which is also written beside the connector as you can see....

(Do Android phones have this aux-in capability via their charging ports?) Lots of otherwise great sound equipment (ex. boomboxes, stereo receivers and digital pianos) has no built-in bluetooth transmitting capability and must therefore run sound their sound signals only through built-in or wired speakers....

Hi Like what James said it’s not really repairable but you can make it look better By cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and maby applying a little metal polish made for MacBooks but it will basically just sugar coat it And if your really brave you could try and tapp the mark out from the inside of the housing however with smaller marks like yours it doesn’t always work!...

Generally happens when the base of phone (where charging port and speakers are) are touching something and phone is tilted to the left or right slightly. I have been using a pre-cut 3M adhesive for Ipad screen replacements (not the generic crappy cheap stuff that is pre-installed or the the fake 3m) with extremely good results. 30+ Ipads from 2 and up with 0 screen lift. The question is due to the pre cut being a little bit expensive I have started using the Premium Red Tape. As I have know experience using this product do people heat the outside of the glass to seal or just once the screen is down leave it....
Chosen Solution I got a SanDisk Ultra 16GB memory card… First when I open my files on phone, all files name inside memory card was changed to hex keys and lot of new files… Inside the file was my original file… I shocked and rebooted my phone… Then, the message corrupted started to appear… So quickly I plug it to my laptop and started to recover with MiniTool Recovery… The recovery was more 1GB, due to free version I can’t able to recover all the files… I just with some images… Then, I tried to clean the memory card contact with eraser… When I plug it back it can’t detect anything… In Disk Management it’s show 1MB drive, in diskpart on cmd it’s shows 512kb, in chkdsk it’s shows RAW, and in MiniTool it not detecting partition....
