How do you upgrade to 4 GB, 8 GB, 64 GB etc?
Chosen Solution I accidentally mixed up the screws that secure the charging cover. I put them back in the right place, but now my phone reboots after about 3 min. Is there anything I can do? Turns out that the pins on the cable weren’t ligned up right. They were just a little bit off, and that’s what was causing the issue. We got them aligned right and everything worked....

Chosen Solution At first the camera app would just shut down, so of course I restarted the phone. Then the camera app was working but it was fixed in selfie mode. I was not able to use the rear camera or the flash light. The rest of the phone is working just fine but I can’t access the rear camera of the phone in apps either. When I press the four circle icon the the camera app, it allows me to choose between the selfie cam (This one is selected) and adding a camera....

Chosen Solution I have a Sony XBR-70X850B, during my recent move the left side of the screen got damaged. There is no crack on the glass that you can touch, but it has a thin curved line inside the screen and there is no picture around that line. I am not sure if I can get a replacement screen somewhere, but if someone can guide me about what part I might need to replace or if it could be fixed somehow, that will be great....

Chosen Solution Hello, Replaced my battery, and now machine will not power up. No fan or any activity, even when plugged into charger. Original battery was very swollen, so much so that case started to deform and pop open. Could that have damaged something? Thanks Its possible the events was the other way around where the charging logic allowed the battery to over charge! Which in turn caused the battery to swell up....

But you’ll want to replace it with the better board MacBook Pro 15" 2.7 GHz i7 (Mid-2012) as it had the deeper memory for the higher res your display can handle.
Chosen Solution I’m doing a repair on a prof’s computer, I replaced a swollen battery on a Mid 2014 Macbook Pro retina, the external works ok, but the main laptop display doesn’t… Battery came from amazon, listed on box as Late 2013 - Mid 2014 its from Egoway Model A1494, 11.26 volts 95 Wh 8440mAh Li-ion Polymer. could it be the battery? could it be the display? UPDATE: someone worked on the macbook prior to me, they hosed the display cable on the top right putting the case back together....
Chosen Solution I suspect that the SSD temp sensor is bad. I installed this sensor years ago when I replaced the HDD, then later upgraded the HDD to SSD… so maybe the sensor is bad… I’m not sure. I did order a new sensor: OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for 27-inch iMacs (macsales.com) https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/DIDI… I’m hoping it will fix the issue with the fan running at full speed when I power on the iMac....
Chosen Solution I followed the fixit guide to the letter I am an experienced Mac Repair person. But I don’t have the skills to understand circuit diagrams etc. All I touched was the smc ribbon and pancake screw , disconnected antenna and display cable connector. Apart from 40 odd screws to take it it is straight forward So why totally dead ? is there something I can try ( yes ive done smc reset etc....
Chosen Solution I wanted to fix my friend his broken screen so I replaced it and it worked fine, until I had to push a little harder to because it would not close at the top. After opening it up again the replacement screen won’t turn on anymore… I tried putting on the old screen and that worked until now, it won’t turn on anymore either… The area right under the lcd cable socket is getting pretty warm when I’m turning it on....
Chosen Solution do you attach the 3M strips to the glass or case, And is there a guide to the placement of each strip I had huge problems after replacement to fix the frontpanel well. Maybe because of this the gave me two sets of adhesive tape… So anyway better to use two layers of the 3M tape if available… My final solution after bad sticking frontpanel was at the end to use silicone sealent… now it sticks perfect and works also as a good sealing for dust…...
Chosen Solution So, I am proceeding to replace the thermostat on my Danby Freezer Model DCF401W. However the new thermostat has a longer probe (about 7inch longer) than the original. I am unable to push it further. Can I leave the extra inches out? Should I cut the probe and seal it back? Suggestion? Sears Parts indicates the part is no longer mfg by Danby and there is no substitute part available....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, this morning my old Samsung TV (LE40B530P7WXZG) just randomly went dark. After rebooting it several times including unplugging it the error still persists. It boots normally and shows the usual image and sound but after a random delay of about 30-60s it will go dark yet still play sound. I already shined a torch on it and it does still have an image, however it seems that the backlight is dead....
Chosen Solution I have a classic gameboy which I am trying to restore and I cant find the solution elsewhere online. When I insert a game it displays a scrambled Nintendo logo. At first I thought it may be a bad cart reader so i took a working game and soldered it directly too the DMG mobo and still the same problem. There are no shorts in the cart reader and the game is still fully functional....
Chosen Solution The digitizer was replaced and then replaced twice more because it still kept on not coming on after a few days. Can mash the power button once and sometime a few times and it comes on but goes back off. Before this it would black out or get lines throughout the display. Is it the digitizer or the motherboard? It’s screen. Change the screen.
