Chosen Solution Hi My girlfriend dropped her Samsung A70 on the hard floor and phone hit the edge. The screen cracked little bit and it is black now. I tried to recover all data from the phone memory but when I connected it to the PC its is not recognized. PC doesn’t even detect that some device was connected. Chosen Solution Samsung plasma Model: PS60F8500AM . Won’t turn o n red light flashes . 2x5 times. So the red light flashes twice for a series of 5 times than becomes solid & restarts the sequence. The TV had a very loud bang with a white flash of light than went black. I have open the back & checked the fuses they are good. I can’t see any sign of damage....
Chosen Solution Quick follow up… So I went ahead and contacted Witrigs about part number SKU: 111329. They checked it for me before ordering and said it was OK. I got some 12mm Mammoth Power grip double-sided tape (cut into 4mm strips) and fitted the new screen last week. It works 100% fine and near-original waterproof. I also added a Tempered glass screen and had an issue with the proximity sensor sending the the screen black when making phone call (common problem) , but quickly sorted this by going into the Settings>Accessibility and ticking the ‘power button to end call’ option....
Chosen Solution Hi I just changed my nexus 10 battery following the Ifixit guide (excellent once again!) and after reassembly, I noticed that that when I slide my finger on the screen, it is much less reactive in the center (and only in the center, the sides work perfectly). Hi, As most touchscreens have some sort of grid network arrangement to identify the “location” of the touch it may be that when you removed the touchscreen flex cable before removing the battery, and then when you reinserted the cable after replacing the battery, that you accidentally touched the cable end with your fingers leaving a film on a section of the cable end....
Chosen Solution Visio D 650i - B2 screen freezes when watching streaming videos. Remote and manual controls will not work have to power down by unplugging to recover. @rearviewer you have not told us if it works with other inputs or if it has teh same issues when not streamed. If so, it’ll be an issue with your main board. You would have to remove the back of your TV and check the board for any obvious damage....

Chosen Solution So I can remove my screen and all the screws in the plate that protects the ribbon cables and yet the plate it’s self will not budge I’ve tried loads of times and my conclusion is that last time I payed to have the screen fixed that the bloke might have glued the plate on? I fixed a iPhone six a few weeks ago with no problems but still can’t figure mine out any help would be awesome...
Chosen Solution I’ll be on my tablet and then the screen says “android core crash” then I hit “ok” and I can continue but then it happens again over and over That means the main kernel crashed. Did it restart when you pressed ok? It may be an annoying prank type virus that is just annoying but has no real effects on the system.

It’s on all the screw holes, behind the speaker, under the rear camera area, & under the WiFi antenna. @jones76 @benjamen50 if you are referring to the swirl markings etc. (pointed out in the blue rectangles) those are from machining the case. Most like done via a CNC milling machine…....
Chosen Solution Hi iFixIt, I have a 2016 Macbook Pro 13 inch Retina Display affected by Flexgate, and it’s currently in the advanced stages now. It’s been repaired before in 2019 (where instead replacing the screen, they gave me a whole new computer and charged me the Apple Flat Rate of ~$500). Now my computer is outside of the Apple Backlight Program’s timeline. Unwilling to pay for another ~$500 repair from Apple that may or may not fix the problem and after having been hung up on by Apple Care discussing this issue, I am turning to you all....

I took the logic board out and smoked in alcohol and it worked fine except the display flickered a little, home button didn’t work, and when pressing the sleep button it would take screen shots so I guess the home button was being “pressed”. A was thinking about buying an old macbook 2010 which says it has a 4 finger trackpad and my newer macbook pros say they have a Inertial trackpad. Is this just a naming difference? Chosen Solution I am not able to delete the unwanted addresses from my address book what is the procedure could any one help me thanks Open your address book. Click once on the name you want to delete. Go up to the top menu bar to Edit. Go down to “delete card”. This removes it from mine. I used 2 layers of 3m 3mm adhesive tape, and it was on very firmly at first. What did i do wrong? How can I prevent this from happening Try using b-7000 glue instead. Chosen Solution I have an Iphone 4S that stopped charging. It also will not connect to a computer. I put a new battery in, it powered up and worked fin. Until the battery went dead. Still no connection or recharge. So, I replaced teh charge port & the mother board & the battery. It’s still doing the same thing. What else could cause this issue? When plugeed in, the back light comes on and it will heat up, but power and connection does not get to the place it needs to....

I was wondering if there are any alternatives to using a microwave? I’ve heard putting it in boiling water but I suppose that would depend on the material of the iopener.
