It is for the metal (?) piece that covers the screen part and it is the screws that are in the little tabs sticking up on the sides. Do I really need that panel to make the phone work?...

Chosen Solution I have a mid 2014 Macbook Pro 15” that’s having issues with the actual mechanical click mechanism of the touchpad (which I’d like to replace). This is the mechanical pre-force touch touchpad. Basically the touchpad has lost its ability to click properly and only has about 1/4 of the travel depth it originally had. Chosen Solution I was replacing the battery in an iphone 5s and after I finished the phone turned on fine, the screen showed the apple logo, but then when it went to the unlock screen I couldn’t type in the password. It doesn’t respond at all to touch anywhere. All of the buttons function fine. Chosen Solution I’ve tried a new charge port, ribbon connectors, wireless coil, and a new battery. Its says that the battery a 0% until I plug it in where it shows a charging symbol. From there I have to press volume down and power to turn it on. Then once its on, it won’t charge past 50%. I’m pretty good at diy but I’m wondering if anyone has an idea how fixable this is? Without knowing the specific model I can only guess, but I would think the display cable connecting the screen to the motherboard has broken. If so, both problems will likely be solved with a factory reset. This sounds be doable without a working touch panel. Long story short, loaned the phone out working, got it back the screen isn’t displaying anything. iTunes finds in when it’s plugged in to my PC, the vibrate works as proof of life. SO, I replaced the whole front panel glass, lcd + digitizer. Hoping that would do it.. Not that I’m a pro, but that didn’t fix the problem. Here’s the QUESTION.
