Chosen Solution I have noticed on my Thunderbolt Display today a blur over the screen when in use that is visible as a grey cloud when the screen is black. I’ve never seen this issue before and live in an area that isn’t humid in any particular way. I think you have a simple problem! Basically dust or dirt has collected on the backside of the cover glass and/or the display its self....
Chosen Solution Hello My MBP’s screen does not stay up. The screen has been changed, but quite rapidly it did not stay up but flips down again. It’s annoying and will one day be damaged. I opened it, looked to the hinges, that seem OK. Do you have a trick to make them tight /stiff ? Ideally without changing any electronic parts, that are expensive and complicated to modify. Apple had a recall on the display assemblies of this series which I think has now ended....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have been having an issue with my computer today. It starts up fine and seems to function normally. After a while the screen shifts or flickers or turns white randomly (or all of the above). After that the computer shuts down and restarts. Any idea what the problem may be? Chosen Solution A few weeks ago I completely tore down an LED TV that needed an LED strip replaced (TV would flicker then go out on powering up). Did that, put it all back together, screen lights up steady now but there is no picture. I was hoping this TV just had multiple issues that went undiagnosed initially but I have since replaced the T-con and mainboard with known working ones and the “image” didn’t change at all....
Chosen Solution So my 2009 MacBook Pro will not turn on anymore. I’ve tried resetting the SMC but still nothing. It will just show the white light at the bottom of the MacBook. It had macOS El Capitan. I do not want to have to buy a new laptop since I am broke. First lets seee if we can get it to spontaneously reboot. Disconnect the mag-safe adapter and then the battery from the logic board....

Chosen Solution Ive got a broken logic board 7th gen thin iPod classic 160gb and have just got hold of 6th gen thick iPod classic 160gb that crashes when in use which i think is the hard drive. Can the thinner 7th gen hard drive fit into the thicker 6th generation classic? does it need some passing or something to not move about? Chosen Solution I recently replaced a battery in a MacBook Air 13” 2018 A1932, and after installing everything back together, it appears that whenever you close the screen, the Macbook will not turn off/go to sleep. It also appears that when I open the screen, it will not Auto Boot even though Auto Boot is on using the terminal command. I am assuming there is something wrong with the magnet that tells the Mac that the screen is open/close but do these models even have a magnet like the older models or is there some other mechanism?...
Chosen Solution Power went out today and the house got got a surge when power was restored. Bedroom light was much brighter than usual for 30 seconds or so. Misc. cheap Household powerstrip got fried+microwave oven no longer works. My MBP17 was running at the time and I didn’t think to quickly power down when the power went out. I didn’t realize till later that the magsafe was not ‘green’. I always run off the powersupply....

Chosen Solution So I had my psp go sitting around for nearly 5 years and decided to buy a charger for it and start using it again. Chargered for 10 minutes then I played with is for about 5 before the screen blacked out on me and now the orange led stays on while charging but nothing happens when I try to turn it back on. Chosen Solution I was wondering is it possible to put a 2012 MacBook Air motherboard in a 2015 MacBook Air body? Why?? Putting a less powerful logic board into a newer system is not something I would do. If on the other hand you had a more powerful logic board than what was sold in the given system then I could see doing it. In addition there are enough differences you can’t do it without also replacing other parts along with it and some of them won’t fit properly....
Chosen Solution Radio has power but no sound ronaldorutola, You did not give us much to go on here. So my guess is there may be a separate amp from the radio and it may have a bad fuse or is faulty or built in amp faulty, speaker wire harness plug may have come loose. More info. like year,make,model,factory radio/aftermarket and its make,model# and any other info. that may help diagnose the issue could help in tracing the problem....
Chosen Solution Replaced Battery with iFixit battery and now the phone constantly reboots every few minutes. I put the original battery back in and the rebooting stopped. I bought the new battery due to the original doesn’t hold its charge very long. I had no other issues. Replacement was simple with no problems. Any ideas why it reboots with the new battery? Install the old battery and see does it still crash if not then sounds like a defective battery

So my 115ES display is broken and I would like to try to fix it before throwing it away and buying a new one, I have the 991ES display which from opening I see they have the same ribbon and everything....
Chosen Solution The left ear sounds fine, so I’m confident it’s not a tuning issue. But the right ear only works if the volume dial is in one VERY specific place. Which, of course means I have no control over the volume if I want to hear in both ears. If the volume dial is not in the right spot I just get static. Halp! Any ideas? I’ve been using these headphones for over 10+ years and had some annoying noise regularly that I was able to mitigate by moving the tuning and volume wheel a bit....
Chosen Solution Both the phase and ground wires are at the correct position and soldered well…but its not working..why..? Dino Ram, you must do a continuity test from the jack to the driver. If that checks out ok, you may have a bad driver (speaker). If it does not then it is possible that this is caused by a bad jack (connection). Yes ever wire is properly soldered
