Chosen Solution What causes an iPhone to display the “SIM Not Supported” message when GSX says the device is Carrier Unlocked. I have a Verizon iPhone 7 Plus that GSX says is Unlocked, but whenever I put in a Verizon SIM card, the “SIM Not Supported” message gets displayed and is bricked until I remove the SIM card. In settings, the carrier is listed as “Verizon 13.0” which makes it more puzzling it’s not accepting any Verizon SIM card....

Chosen Solution Question is what data would be lost because I done a software update and then it lost power and when I turned it on the lights started flashing the code, doesn’t the RAM only hold OS and not my saved files? Yes data is stored on your hard drive - nothing to do with RAM Unfortunately on this model the RAM is soldered in? Important! Backup your files before sending the laptop to Dell....

After installing the kit, I noticed the white wire coming from the S2 terminal had come loose, not from the motor itself but where it goes. The issue I have is I have no clue where I goes to. I’m told it’s a ground to the negative terminal but where does it need to connect?...

Chosen Solution So i originally had an R button problem and tried the “blowing into R button trick” to get it to respond.It worked for a while but then I did it too many times and the street pass light(the one that turns green and blue when street and spotpassing) turned solid red.I don’t know what I did but it stayed on like that for a while and would fade in color when i pressed the R button....

Chosen Solution Found my old macbook pro A1278 core2duo boots up with a chime but display comes up white, hard disk has been removed earlier, screen seems to be caught with funguses, i am not sure about it, is there a way to find out, that my screen is ok? With some kind of bootable usb? Update (05/02/2018) Update : i found out the issue and it was, the graphics chipset, Re-hot procedure worked on it, and now the macbook is blinking the folder with an question mark....

Chosen Solution my BELOVED!!!! google nexus 7 2013 tablet is dying a slow and painful death! it won’t charge any more, and I ordered a battery replacement, but am not sure, looking at the teardown on here, that I will do it correctly…. do I just tear that tape off that’s across it? then unscrew? I can only HOPE that my new battery arrives in time—-it is DECLINING in power as we speak, and I have HEARD that if it gets too low, the whole tablet is lost and is not recoverable!...

Chosen Solution ALT (Option) Has Disabled From my MacBook Pro At Startup i cant Load Startup Manager with this button But it working in OS but in startup (Power on) doesn’t working. i cant use Reset NVRAM (CMD + ALT+R+P ) because ALT don’t stay working at boot if i try reset NRAM MacBook go to Recovery Mode not NVRAM mode because it read only (CMD+R+P) not read (CMD+ALT+P+R) i think ALT Disabled from my MacBook pro because i try Some Command last days like i disabled “SIP”....

Chosen Solution Basically dismantled the unit to clean as hair gets everywhere, a small metal part fell out before i had the chance to take a placement photo, and now can’t quite figure how it’s meant to realign. Everything else appears to be in order I just can’t place this small metal lever which I’m guessing is what closes the circuit. Below is an image of the unit which illustrates the area where the black plastic switch is meant to slot in on the bottom of the image, along with the black plastic switch underneath the unit alongside the metal part that I cannot seem to place correctly....

Chosen Solution This iPad is very dear to me and I’d like to keep it as factory as possible. it has recently sustained damage similar to dropping it from an extreme height that has caused the chassis to warp and dent in one spot. That spot being on the back corner where the headphone jack is. Everything works just fine on it, the screen is not cracked or damaged in anyway and it does not run hot or with shortened battery life....

Chosen Solution So this is regarding interswapping battery between units, answers says it works and people are actually confirsming this, the catch is you have to bend the flex cable slightly for shape… That does seem to be correct, you should be able to use an iPhone 7 battery in a 6S model for higher capacity. I have just looked at both batteries. They seem to both have the same connectors and the iPhone 7 battery is higher capacity, but strangely smaller than the iPhone 6s, so I think you could probably install the iPhone 7 battery in to the iPhone 6s, but probably not visa versa due to size constraints....

Chosen Solution When I turn on my XBox 360 (newer version) the green light in the middle of the circle comes on for about 5 seconds then turns red. There are NO red ring lights around the edge of the silver button, ONLY the red dot in the middle. I took the hard drive out and put it back in, that did nothing. The power supply has a green light. I also tried two other HDMI cables and still nothing....

Chosen Solution I changed the driver in my PlayStation 3 now every time I put a movie in I get this message that says region code is incorrect what do I do It can be a different default region code of the driver which is not compatible with the movies. You should be able to change the region code of the drive for up to 5 times. So change the region of the driver to your place....

Chosen Solution Samsung UN32EH4003 tv I haven’t had problems until today. My remote won’t turn the tv on. I troubled shoot with taking the batteries out and discharging the power. And I tried the camera thing to look at the sensor and I don’t see a blinking light so I don’t know if I need to replace it. There is a class action law suit on this issue. Contact Samsung. Sometimes they will send a tech, sometimes you get a runaround....

Chosen Solution Hwy, do you guys know how to fix the back glass of iPhone XS Max? My understanding is that if you heat up the back with a heat gun or blow dryer you can peel the glass off as it’s held on with adhesive. If you broke the back glass you really have nothing to lose with getting it off, you can hack away at it until it’s off with an opening pick and/or a Jimmy....

Chosen Solution Hi folks, Like the title says, I replaced the battery of my Acer Spin 5, with a new, original one. But the new one was not really recognized, the battery LED was just flashing orange instead of just shining. I thought, Ok, maybe thats the way it is for a fresh new one, but it just flashes (for hours) and at some point just stops flashing, but it is not charged at all....

Chosen Solution can i put a restore disk in the computer before i turn the computer on No, you need power to the super drive. What you can do is hold down Option when turning on the iMac. This will give you a boot menu, and you can put the CD in at this point and select it to boot from.
