Chosen Solution So i replaced screen on an iphone 7 plus, transfered all parts to new screen and re assembled, but it was stuck in a boot loop, i opened the phone back up and found that if i unplugged front cam flex it boots and works fine. So i oredered a new cam flex which did the same, i tried a cam flex from an 8 plus i have as they look identical and still got the same....
Chosen Solution I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I followed the guide to replace the screen on 2 phones, and both phones have signal loss. I didn’t wear gloves (I will next time). I cleaned out all the connectors with Windex and changed all the screws. My device seems to be put back together properly. Did someone have a similar problem and then find a solution? Chosen Solution I have a global/EU iPhone XS (A2097) and this is my second iFixit screen replacement. Unlike in the guide, the earpiece and sensor assembly remain connected to the logic board and are not connected to the screen at all. Last year, I purchased a replacement screen from iFixit, replaced, and everything worked fine. Because the earpiece and sensor assembly were not attached to the screen, I simply disconnected the two connectors from the old screen, connected the two connectors for the new screen and… voila!...

They are measuring the length of the screw only. This will not help you to find the proper screw size. At this time I would recommend to purchase a complete screw set like this

Chosen Solution radio stopped working and cigarette light doesnt work Hi, Check that fuse #9 in the passenger compartment, passenger side fuse box is OK and has not blown. This fuse feeds both the radio and the cigarette lighter. You may have plugged something into the cigarette lighter socket e.g. a phone charger perhaps, which blew the fuse. Here’s an image to show you where it is located in the passenger side fuse box....

Chosen Solution I found my old click wheel iPod in the cupboard and decided to replace the original battery with the iFixit one, it was not holding a charge as it’s around 15 years old. iFixit battery does not hold a charge suspect something is severely draining it. Have charged the device all day and came home the display looks to still be charging. Unplugged FireWire charger and the unit shows the no battery icon....

Chosen Solution I am aware of the procedure to replace a1369 keyboard. Its coming this week. What screws are needed in place of the rivets… I had actually though the keyboard would stay in place without them but maybe not… The seller of the keyboard should be suppling you either the needed screws or rivets or both depending on what you need for your given system. If they don’t offer them look for a different seller....
Chosen Solution I just woke up and checked on my phone and when i opened it it was perfectly fine but as i am using it, it slowly turns to either pinkish red or white. and when i clicked the power button, it reverts back to clear screen (without reds or whites) but then same thing happened and screen turns to white. I tried resetting just the settings and resetting the whole phone but no luck....

Funny thing, this note8 retail model has an imei and bandbase, it reads SIM and grabs connection. Just can’t remove the retail mode software as it is built into firmware. So, the way I see it is, I have two options and need your opinion....
Chosen Solution So the Apple TV appears to work great- screen starts up, can click on apps… but once you click on a video, the loading symbol appears in the middle of the screen and freezes. you can hear the audio of the media you selected but are unable to see it. the only way to stop it is to wait for it to eventually crash or to unplug it to restart....
Chosen Solution I would like to mute the beeping on a Sharp 75MR microwave. I have read that many microwaves can be silenced by holding the 1 or 0 button, or with secondary keys, but this has a very simple panel with only 10 minute, 1 minute and 10 seconds buttons, plus some pre-sets. Holding the number or pre-set keys does nothings, and holding stop activated the child lock. It came with my employer-provided accommodation, so I’d rather not do something permeant to it, but I’ll disconnect the speaker if that is the only option....
Chosen Solution My beloved late 2011 15inch MacBook Pro is having graphics card problems. I believe the problem is specifically due to the chip overheating which then causes a number of symptoms - the end result being my display is all messed up. And I believe the only solution is to replace the logic board - at which point I might as well get a new MacBook. I had an out of the box solution to run by everyone - I was looking for your thoughts....
