Then youll need to remove the window control, whether it is manual or electronic, you need to remove the clips holding it into the door panels. Chosen Solution has anyone had this issues with purchasing an aftermarket LCD, and the auto brightness no longer functions? when returning the front assembly ribbon to the OEM it works just fine, will not work in the new LCD. have tried a few different vendors to no avail. is this a common issue with the iphone 8,8plus and 10 with the newer sw? or potentially the glass? The cable appears to go under the motherboard where I can’t access it, so do I have to remove the board to replace the port? Chosen Solution I replaced the battery in my Macbook Pro 13” Retina Display Late 2013 (whew) with no issues. A question though: The battery is built on a plastic frame with four mounting holes which match threaded holes in the computers baseplate, but there are no screws holding the battery in place - double stick tape does that job (a design change I guess). The four holes in the battery’s frame are filled with rubber plugs, which appear to do nothing but hide the holes (can’t say I blame Apple for this, without plugs it would look like they forgot to install screws)....

Take the drive out and use a SATA to USB adapter like this one: Startech 2.5" SATA to USB adapter If you can reformat it and install the OS using it from another Mac then your problem is a bad HD SATA cable (which is common in this series)....

Chosen Solution The TV is UN55NU7100FXZA with power supply L55E6N_NHS. The TV turns on but I don’t see any backlight and of course no display. The remote assistant does come on but talks very fast. I looked at the CNM801 connector from the PS to the main board. Pins 3, 5, 7, 9 is labeled as 13V - but using a multimeter I read 26V on each. What could the problem be?...

Chosen Solution No video or audio. The laser assembly moves but the spindle motor won’t spin. No obvious signs of spillage or overheating. Where do I start? I’m repairing this for fun so time is of no issue. Is there even a schematic floating around for these? it might be a CPU issue, or the traces/solder joints may be broken. If not, then the power supply might not be outputting on some of the PSU-Motherboard connector’s pins....

After switching the broken screen of my watch with the working one, the replaced screen is only white. I checked the cables and changed the Touch Force sensor as well. The screen is still white. It does this by itself like clockwork and if I don’t press cancel immediately it shuts down. What does this code indicate? @rdb bet you are referring to a airbag code 29. this is a tricky one and it sounds like you are having air bag issues. When fully connected the media center powers on fine, the acoustimass module only hisses (it does get louder as the volume is turned up on the media center) and nothing whatsoever is output to the speakers themselves.
