Chosen Solution the battery connector broke off my ipod 5g logic board (1763-A 32mb). instead of soldering it back on, im entertaining the idea of upgrading my iPod altogether and replacing the logic board with a 820-1975-A 64mb logic board. would this work seamlessly with all my 5th gen parts? i also was thinking about getting a 820-1763-A 64mb board instead, as this would be cheaper, and I’m not sure if the 1974-A board has any definite improvements other than the search function....

Chosen Solution I’ve purchased 2 different screens and both are not same as oem. I tried one of them and phone stays in boot loop. Put broke one back on for now. The ribbons are different for some reason. The picture on the order shows it to be like original. First picture is original and second is replacement. Are you trying to test the screen without the home or proximity cable attached?...

Chosen Solution My brother’s Lumia 625 has a screen that’s cracked all to !&&*. It’s still functional, touch controls working. I’ve looked at some youtube videos before but they all involve heat guns and pretty complex dis-assembly work. Does this phone need the digitizer replaced or just the screen, and is there a simple way to do that with an IFixIt kit? It is a lot easier to get the glass with the digitizer already on it....

The screen backlight flickers like crazy upon dimming before turning the screen off, or when the device is on low battery (say 5%), or simply when the brightness setting is below 10% (I think. Meaning, low). I’ve read a loooot of BS (room temperature, background apps, cache partition, SD card, blabla), all circumstantial so far but no SPECIFIC explanation/fix as to why or how this happens, and/or the correct way to “fix” it, if can be done, or what part to look up to repair/replace....

You’ll need to know details to be able to research the issue properly, and you might find replacement parts on ebay if out of warranty.

Successfully stripped down the old housing and began transferring over the relevant bits to the new housing, starting with the wireless charging coil & its attached Volume-Mute flex cable....

Chosen Solution I recently purchased a Grade A used 15” MacBook Pro 11,5 Dual Graphics 2.8GHz 16GB RAM which I have upgraded with the OWC 2TB Aura Pro X2 2TB SSD. This is an excellent system with great performance, and replaced my previous 13” MB Pro 2012. My only minor gripe is with the size of the SSD - I’m not going into detail, but I genuinely need to have more than 2TB of SSD internal storage, my old system had 3TB internal storage (after taking out the CD drive), and had it not been that it was getting too old and slow for my needs, I would have gladly kept it just because it was so easy to upgrade everything....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro won’t turn on, after a lot of tinkering and testing we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s probably the logic board. I’m on vacation, so I don’t have the tools I need to take the logic board out in the hopes of trying to fix it, and don’t have access to another MacBook. I’ve taken the hard drive out that contains the startup disk, and am able to connect it as an external to my friend’s pc, and we’re wondering if it is possible to access the files / programs on the startup disc via linux knopix....

You are not referring to the coolant gauge on your instrument panel….Right now I would recharge the system and check for a leak. It is a 10 year old vehicle and could easily lose refrigerant.
