During use the display suddenly began to show both vertical and horizontal black lines while fading to black before returning to normal. This repeats every 5-10 second: fading then returning. Hi @faux I got the easiest solution for you and here you go. http://www.amazon.com/Self-adhesive-Clea… I use these alot and even though they are clear they do the exact same thing and all you have to do is peel them off and stick them to whatever I use them on electronics, tool cases, Ifixit 64 bit kit and what ever I don’t want to slide which is what those original feet did but they are just clear instead....

And unless you know how to code, have Linux distro, a lot of free time and space on PC drive, than you can do something about it, but it is still not going to work 100% because of pin layouts (if they don’t match)....

Chosen Solution I watched a few tutorials and just wondered if i could heat up the adhesive on the lens and not have to take off the whole glass back of the phone? wouldn’t it be much easier and faster? Yes you can, isolate the are near camera glass with somthing that can take the heat so you don’t head the whole phone, take some thin material and start sliding it under the glass....

Chosen Solution It appears the ribbon cable had been glued to the contacts. Only solution so far is to use 3M electrically conducting tape. Any other suggestions? The attached image shows the space constraint inside the housing. The 19 gold tabs are where the ribbon cable attaches. Hi @pistol357 , for 99% it will be the LED Strip on the TV. Easily check this fact by removing chassis and power on your TV. If it’s a fault, remove the strip and search for the PN to order the same, if there will not be any information about part number (it have to be), you can order the alternatives from the eBay or Ali express, but choose carefully, read the specs of your led strip to order same, and I’m suggesting you order 2PCS, because the shine will be never same in non-original parts....

Chosen Solution Hello everyonei got a new motherboard for my s21 5G after I installed it I noticed that bluetooth is not working correctly ( turning off on its own) so I opened the phone again and I noticed that I made a big mistake since I placed the mob under the side of the camera and almost bent the board.Anyway after correcting Bluetooth is now flawless but now every time I do something that causes a small amount of heat like gaming or youtube short for 30 cause wifi to turn off if the phone is too hot wifi will refuse to turn on until it cools down....

Chosen Solution TV was shutting off then back on intermittently. Then started happening at closer intervals. TV also turned itself on at least once or twice in the middle of the night. Replaced both main and power board. Now will not turn on. Can get it to turn on occasionally after it has been unplugged. Red light on control button flashes. Stays on for only a few minutes. @scottiegirl take a look at the Jog switch/IR board....

Chosen Solution The glass is cracked and needs to be replaced. Please advise what to do. @lexyboo check the answer by drummjb to this question How do I replace a cracked screen? It should work for yours as well.

Chosen Solution my samsung j8 screen is crack and black but i can still hear the notifications. I am not 100% sure about this but the phones display cable might have gone loose when the phone got cracked (assuming it was an impact or drop), if you’re ok with a cracked screen maybe take it apart with one of the guides on iFixit and just plug it back in or get a new display assembly and do the same....

Chosen Solution Onboard screen keyboard used to have a “.com” key. The key has changed to “.ca”. How do i get my original keyboard configuration back? Go into settings. Check both your keyboard layout and your language and region settings. Sounds like someone changed your language / keyboard layout to Canadian English vs US English.

Chosen Solution Hi I have just replaced the screen on my daughters iPhone se and now the phone lights up with the Apple logo then turns off again it’s doing this constantly. No reaction to any input. Check all of the connections including the front camera and earpiece speaker and home button. Also the connection to the motherboard. Did you disconnect the battery before taking the screen off? You can short circuit things if you don’t disconnect the battery first....

Chosen Solution Dropped phone water damaged (toilet) Wasn’t in very long.(dropped top end quarter of it) Dried out in hot car. Tide line on phone….slowly disappeared but ever so faint now. All works.
